"The location of this lake house is fantastic (5 stars) — right on the water with easy lake access and a convenient boat slip. It’s hard to beat the setting if you’re looking to spend time on the lake.That said, the home itself is overpriced for what it offers. While the cabin had the basics, it’s quite dated and not entirely renter-ready (3 stars). For example, noise easily travels from the main floor to the basement — making it difficult for anyone sleeping downstairs to get rest, especially with the loud sound of toilets flushing above.The biggest disappointment was the **major construction project** happening directly next door. Construction vehicles were active all day, starting early in the morning on weekdays, with some even parked partially on the rental property. This was not disclosed in the listing, and given the scale of the project, it seems clear that this has been ongoing — and will continue — for some time. The noise and disruption were a significant drawback to an otherwise peaceful location. Fortunately, the management company was responsive and agreed to issue a partial discount after we raised the issue.I do want to call out that the management team was helpful and accommodating overall. When we discovered there was no coffee grinder or tea kettle, they sent someone out to drop them off promptly.Overall, we enjoyed the lake itself, but the value doesn’t quite match the price — especially with the active construction and the cabin’s dated condition."

"Had an amazing family vacation. Everything we needed in the home was supplied. Nice and clean and plenty of space. Very easy few days for us to relax at the beach and the weather was amazing. Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful place with us - we loved it!"

"Details: Our trip was 4 adults and one dog. What we liked: Other than sleeping we spent all our time outside and loved that there were multiple outdoor spaces to choose from as the sun changed. The view of the lake was why we picked this place and it was worth every penny; it was hard to leave. The dog: We always appreciate a dog-friendly place, and each deck space had its own gate to keep the dog in. They weren't escape-proof, but enough to discourage wandering. He had a great time. Cleanliness: We are VRBO hosts ourselves and have high cleaning standards. My pet peeve is linens that get washed, but not cleaned (they still have hairs wound up in them, etc). The linens here met my standard, and I felt comfortable drying my face in a clean towel. That being said, the cabin could use some better general cleaning (stairs were dirty, doors around the handles where people touch them) but nothing critical was dirty. I would also counter some of the other reviews with a reminder that this is a cabin in woods...so yeah, you may see a spider, but we also saw deer and bald eagles. If you want a resort, don't book a rustic cabin. Issues: At one point we lost water pressure (our fault: because mom accidently unplugged the water pump to use the hairdryer and didn't know it). I was worried about the response based on other reviews I'd seen, but we messaged the host team and heard back within half an hour. They suggested checking the pump plug and voila, problem solved. "

"What an amazing stay! We originally booked this stay just as a way to break up our trip from Canada to Glacier, but it ended up being such a memorable experience. The hosts were so helpful and friendly, the space is clean and beautiful, and the location was so peaceful. The owners have thought of everything. We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals - this one is definitely at the top of the list. The owners’ care and love of their little slice of heaven really shines through in all of the thoughtful details. We loved getting up early, drinking coffee while watching deer and baby wild turkeys meander through the back, paddling the lake in the provided canoe- we were even lucky enough to see a moose on our morning paddle. We also explored the nearby towns and trails, and my son and I had an awesome time doing a high ropes course at Tree to Tree Adventure Park about 25-30 mins north (well run program and very economical). Such a great stay- do not hesitate to book!"

"This quiet, cozy place was perfect for my 10 year anniversary trip with my wife. We spent lots of time relaxing and enjoying the hot tub. Just an overall awesome experience! Highly recommend!"
