"A genuinely special place to stay. The setup was cosy and self-contained, with views of both the sea and across the garden, complete with horses! The cream tea waiting for us on arrival was such a lovely touch after the long drive, and the fresh croissants were a simple addition we appreciated every day. The hosts kept things fresh and tidy without ever being intrusive, which struck just the right balance.
It's the kind of stay that feels looked after in a personal way you don't often find....

"Arrived 20 to 30 minutes before check in time due to the bad weather only to be told there was a fee for early arrival which didn’t make for a great start when everywhere else that we had stayed was fine with it as it wasn’t far off the stated time of arrival. The rooms are basic. For the price they should include breakfast. Rooms are not serviced during your stay. We were there 3 nights. We were in a downstairs room and could hear every footstep made from the room above. It’s a means to an end type accommodation but if you can avoid it I would. Not good value for the price."
"Despite my booking has confirmed, we couldn't stay this property. Because this property had double booking. We're waiting full refund. I'll never book this property."
"Everything was as you would expect, kitchen had everything you need and it was great for the price. Staff were very friendly and had some good facilities. Slight issue with beds on the smaller size and the bathroom floor was a little dirty as it looked like someone walked in with grassy shoes. "
Stunning beach-side chalet with a lighthouse view - Gwithian Towans, St Ives Bay
10/10 Excellent
"The property was perfect for our needs. The views were great. Ours was an Autumn stay so didnt use the garden but it must be lovely in the summer.....secure and no paths or road directly outside. Not overlooked...parking private and spacious...the property had everything you could need....clean...comfortable...great access to the beach and coast path. (We no longer have dogs ....i did think that i may have been worried about them bringing too much sand or wet inside as the door opens directly into the kitchen diner...so recommend taking plenty of dog towels). We have been staying on the same site for about 14 years in a row but the chalet we used to rent is no longer available....this was an even better alternative so we will definitely try and use it again. The host was in touch before and during our stay to wish us a happy stay and to check we has everything we needed. No negatives at all. "
