"Palmer’s Guest House was clean, cozy, and perfect for two people to stay in. The rustic interiors were lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the location was great. Kristin was very accommodating and threw in a complimentary bottle of wine and a voucher to the restaurant. We had the Sunday Brunch and it was a great meal in a beautiful restaurant. We’ll be staying here again next time we’re in San Marcos."

"Our stay at this beautiful historic home was absolutely wonderful! The owners have done an incredible job preserving the character and charm of the home while thoughtfully incorporating modern updates that make it exceptionally comfortable. Every room reflected the home's rich history, yet had all the amenities our large group needed for a relaxing stay. The house was spotless, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. We especially appreciated how the modern conveniences blended seamlessly with the original architectural details, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. If you're looking for a place that offers both historic charm and contemporary comfort, this is it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We can't wait to come back!"

"What a special place. We love unique and historically significant places and this did not disappoint. It was just two of us so we took the back, street-side room and the bed was very comfortable. The loft would have been fun for our kids had they been with us this time. Because of our early and time crunched morning we were thankful for the clean Keurig and pods and ran to the nearby HEB for Oat Milk beforehand. Would recommend if you don’t love cookie-cutter stays."
