Great hotel to start Panorama Route or Kruger Park

Wonderful hotel to stay at as launching point for Panorama Route or to get into Kruger National Park. Great rate, rooms were clean, and staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant had decent food, and they packed our breakfast for us the next morning so we could leave on our adventure early. It was far better than the rest camp we stayed inside Kruger.

It was awesome to return to our honeymoon destination 18 years ago. It is still a wonderful setting. The room and food was excellent.

A fair stay

The bed was too hard. Didn’t appreciate the 2nd hand used face cloths (not professional at all). The WiFi was awesome & fast. The pool was not as it was in the pics (dream sold). They should sell more variety at the bar in terms of drinks

My stay was cool ,I enjoyed every moment of my stay at umbhaba eco lodge ,all staff will treat you like a human being with smiles all the time, the manager was so sweet and helpful, front desk staff always smiling ,Barman was always smiling, not forgetting all the kitchen guys ,Harold is always helpful and smiling, launderette magogo was always cleaning and changing linen as required,Room 21 ,I will definitely come back, the TV and the Fridge is required in the rooms urgently pls,also very important is shade for the cars at the parking ,is extremely urgent ,our cars were always under the scorching sun,,lastly you must also consider putting a pave from the gate to the reception ,then umbaba lodge will be complete,Maxwell Sikhwivhilu ,SA
