"Jesse’s home is absolutely stunning. The view over the canal is unforgettable. There was more than enough space for my family, with very comfy beds. It was immaculate—easily the most spotless vacation rental I have ever stayed in. And the location is incredibly convenient: a short walk to the train station and fun all around. We particularly enjoyed the Saturday morning market that was just outside our doorstep. Do yourself a favor and stay in Jesse’s home!"

On the other hand, it is very tattered, dated, rickety and an electrical nightmare. Extension cords and hidden switches everywhere and very dimly lit. Floors covered with throw rugs that all overlap; the walls and ceilings covered with fabric that has been stapled on. And, used toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet. "We found the studio apartment very adequate for our needs. It was large enough to be able to sit comfortably at the table and the kitchen has cook top and microwave which we appreciated. "I liked the location, you can get a ferry for free, outside the property towards the Central station or walk about 5mins to the bus stop instead. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The property is gorgeous with a stunning view of the river. The only let down is the noise policy. No music or noise from 9pm-8am, which for 5 women celebrating a birthday is incredibly hard. I kept receiving text messages regarding the noise which was disheartening."
