"We were a bit upset with the room setting for the price we paid. We scheduled for a studio with queen bed, but because we had a pet we were placed in a (supposedly pet friendly room) that was somewhat uninviting. No couch, an uncomfortable bed and a recliner which is really not pet friendly, especially if your pet is in an unfamiliar environment. If they crawl under it to hide and someone doesn't know the cat is under it, they can get seriously injured. (not very well thought through on that idea). A small box couch would be more accommodating so you can relax with your pet. The shower floor could have been a little cleaner and the handles on all the drawers in the kitchen should be wiped down. I do housekeeping for a living and I was a bit disappointed with some of areas that should be clean and sanitized. Other than that the stay was quiet and got us through the storm, as we were traveling. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when we asked for kitchenware and very helpful throughout our stay. I would recommend Extended Stay, but there are a few areas that really need to be addressed. Thank you!"

"The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was nice and roomy. The management was helpful. The issue we had was safety and security. The door had no deadbolt or chain, it was simply a regular door knob with a lock like you would have on an interior door. My husband showed the manager how he was easily able to use a credit card to get in. It also wasn’t the greatest neighborhood. We felt we had to set up something inside to block the door from being opened. Never experienced that anywhere else in 40 years of staying in hotels."

"This was such a cute and cozy place to stay! Mike thought of all the details that make a place comfortable. It was easy to find and to get in and out of and he was super responsive. The apartment was well outfitted, clean, and I would absolutely stay there again!"

"Mike was friendly and responsive in all communications with us.The apartment is AMAZING! While the photos are accurate, the apartment looks even more impressive in person. Mike has attended to every aesthetic detail. It is luxurious, with high end furnishings, supplies, and well stocked pantry.We regret not having stayed here for the entire week to use it as home base for our first four nights visit at Newport. Staying at Mike’s would have been living in the lap of luxury, at much lower cost.We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Rhode Island!"
