With a king sized bed and a sleeping loft with a double memory foam mattress, our studio-style Bear Paw Cottage comfortably sleeps two adults and two small children.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this cute and cozy cabin. We didn’t use any of the amenities like the grill/picnic area or hot tub but everything looked nice and well kept. And we didn’t cook or use the fully stocked kitchenette area (except coffee in the morning) because too many fun restaurants in Helen! Great communication with hosts.

Great stay!

Has everything you need for a little mountain/hiking getaway. Cottages are spaced out enough to offer privacy, and the hot tub is a nice touch especially after a day of hiking.

Relaxing & Enjoyable stay.

We had a great stay. Cabin was cozy and quiet with so much you could do outside. We did not use the firepit but did venture along one of the many walking trails. We are looking forward to returning again soon.

Wonderful place to stay. Close to Helen which is better than most when it comes to parking. We really enjoyed the outdoor firepit and had a great time with hot dogs and smores over the open fire. Penny and Shawn were easy to work with, so you will be grateful you rented from them.

Short stay

We came to Helen as a two day stop over before heading to Florida. What an adorable place! It was absolutely perfect for what we needed. We prefer to get a cabin or house vs a hotel because we travel with our dog. This was the perfect stay. The host was so great and communication was extremely easy. We spent most of our time exploring the area but when we were at the cabin we enjoyed an amazing fire and comfy bed. 10 out of 10. Great place for a romantic get away with your loved one.

A real deal!

My wife and I really loved our stay here. Just a short drive to downtown Helen! The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Very good value per night. The hot tub was very nice and also clean. We celebrated our 14th anniversary here. When we entered the cabin, the owners had left us anniversary gift on the bed with a card. We thought that was very sweet of them. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Anniversary Getaway

The wife and I wanted to just get away and run up to the mountains for our 21st wedding anniversary. We love Helen and these amazing little cabins are so close and convenient. They have seven cabins in total and the place feels like a campground. What really sold us on the listing was the hot tub, and we weren't disappointed. Amazing place, can't speak highly enough of the place.

Excellent Value and Location

Excellent value for people like us that just wanted a simple place to stay. Tiny house setup in cabin form. Was super clean and cozy. Main bed was crazy comfortable and I had to look up the brand of towels they had because they were awesome. Location is great to access Helen ane the state park. Also, sure you go to Hoochies which is very close by. It's tiny, but the breakfast etc was amazing...and you don't fight the crowds like all the restaurants in Helen.

The place was a perfect get away cabin. The rustic style interior, the hot tub to the amazing bed. Yes the bed was amazingly comfortable. It was quaint and perfect for our stay. Booking was simple. Cozy comfy for 2 plus kids!

We stayed for 5 days and had a great time. Penny was always very responsive for any pre-arrival questions we had. Loved the huge fire pit circle in picnic area directly behind cabin. We had cook outs on the charcoal grills provided and heat in the unit was nice and warm. There was what seemed like endless hot water for showers. A will stay again

Awesome

The cabin is small but we were not in the cabin much. The king bed was so comfortable! Everything you need was there. Beautiful area. Quiet. Very relaxing get away. There is 6 cabins and would be awesome for a group to rent all 6! I am actually thinking of doing this, maybe next year.

Quite Cabin Getaway

The property was perfect. Tucked away from Helen in forest close to Unicoi State Park. This secluded cabin offers excellent amenities and short drives to both the wonderful town of Helen and numerous hiking trails.
