The property was really great for myself and three sisters. We appreciated the 4 bedrooms with queen and king beds. It had great spaces indoors and outdoors for eating, lounging and playing games. The proximity to Helen as well as great hiking and waterfalls was excellent. The management company was super communicative and easy to work with. Our only real complaint was that the pots and pans should probably be replaced. The frying pans had lose handles. We could still use them to cook, but in contrast to the really nice dinnerware (plates, glasses, silverware) the pans were sub-par. Additionally, including clorox wipes or a cleaning spray to wipe down counters would have been nice.Overall we had an excellent stay and would recommend the cabin and the property management company.

What an amazing place, a beautiful atmosphere. So many nooks to sit in a rocking chair and enjoy peace. A pool table and hot tub to relax. We definitely want to come back!!!

Nice stay

Enjoyable stay very near Helen. Property was clean and cozy. Plenty of room with three floors. Only negative was there were no fireplace tools for the wood burning fireplace.

Lazy Bear Lair in Helen

We stayed at Lazy Bear Lair for a couple of days before a family reunion. The property was wonderful and exactly what it was advertised to be. Other than rain for both days, the trip was wonderful and quiet.

Amazing Cabin Weekend

We had the best time in Helen GA! Your property is beautiful and it was the perfect size for my girls weekend. Everything was great and the cabin so beautiful, we enjoyed the hot tub, the game room and just relaxing in the living area! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay at Lazy Bear Lair

Helen, Georgia is a fun Germany themed town and we loved all the Christmas decorations and shops. The food was awesome! Our cabin was laid out perfectly with all of us having our own private space when needed. We had everything we needed in the cabin and everything worked great. We will definitely be back!

Great Cabin super convenient to town

Regina was amazing to work with!! I made a huge mistake and booked the wrong dates, she worked with me to address my mistake! The cabin was clean, comfy and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!!

Amazing girls weekend getaway

My friends and I had the best time at the cabin this past weekend for the Helen Christmas Market. The cabin was clean and well stocked. I felt supported the whole time if there were to be any issues. Will definitely book again!

Nice Stay in Helen

We spent four nights in this cabin on a quick trip from coastal Mississippi. Everything with the cabin was fine and there was plenty of room for all five of us ranging in age from to 77. The cabin is in a gated golf and recreation community that is very quiet and secluded yet just a few minutes from downtown Helen. Overall a very good trip.

Closer to the road than we had planned but the cabin was very nice and spacious. Accommodated 7 adults well. No issues with road closeness. Very secluded feel.

Large beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of privacy. The house had a lot of amenities including a grill, hot tub, and activity room! Perfectly located just minutes from downtown Helen!

The location was great. The property was good overall but it could use a little attention, ie the floors cracked when you walked, there were rotted boards on the outside of the home on the porch and siding.

Great trip

Cabin was described perfectly. Perfect location. Clean and good size. Only negative is the steps and floors were very creaky and hard to walk around in AM if anyone was sleeping. But otherwise cabin is great and would def come back.

Great Weekend

We really enjoyed our stay at Lazy Beat Lair. My boys especially enjoyed the pool table and hot tub The upstairs bedroom was too warm for me. We did have a bee issue on the front porch railing but we just steered clear. We would definitely stay there again

Great house

Great house & location. Close enough to town not to be inconvenient, but close enough to come & go through out the day. Very comfortable. Sitting area on main floor was perfect for a family of 4. Pool table got just as much use. Good selection of shows/movies to watch.

Great location in a spacious cabin

The cabin was nice and fully stocked with all that we needed. The kitchen needs a thorough cleaning. We had to wash all dishes and utensils before we could use them. The coffee pot is not K-cup compatible as stated. Owner brought new pots/pans set during our stay, which was much appreciated. Bathrooms and bedrooms were clean. Linens were provided, as well as a nice starter pack in the kitchen and for each bathroom. Hot tub was clean and ready. Game room was a plus. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time at Lazy Bear Lair! The house was well-stocked with plenty of room for our group of 6 (3 couples.) The dining room table and kitchen were perfect for meals, and the game room was fun for evenings. The only minor concerns we had were that the door to the downstairs squeaks terribly, the drawers in the main level bathroom needed a good cleaning, and providing a baking sheet in the kitchen would round out the supplies there nicely. Other than that everything was perfect! Beds were comfortable, towels were nice and thick, and plenty of room. The wrap around porch was a beautiful spot for morning coffee. The location is great. Close enough to Helen but far enough away to feel secluded and quiet. Highly recommend Lazy Bear Lair!
