Highly recommended.

Hans is an excellent host, willing to go the extra mile. Room was spacious, beds comfortable and bathroom spotless. Breakfast buffet style and excellent. Would definitely recommend a stay at The Bridge Guest House.

Looks better on the outside than the inside. Good it has parking, friendly manager, well positioned and decent breakfast. HOwever, room with broken sink, no hot water in the evening for a bath(no shower), windows don't open properly - have to try and wedge open, and bed far from great.

Amazing stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Bridge. Lovely comfy huge bed! Beautiful bedroom. It was quiet and great location - very short walk to pubs, restaurants and local shops. The staff member we met not sure if it was the owner was very welcoming. Delicious full breakfast. Will definitely be back there.

There was plenty of free parking. The room was spacious but smelled like wet dog. The window didn’t open (probably deliberately) but there was no fan in the bathroom. There was nowhere to put any toiletries in the bathroom; a shelf would be a useful addition. There was a shower attachment on the bath taps but nowhere to hook it up and no shower curtain so taking a shower was impossible without getting everywhere wet through. Breakfast was good. Lots of choice and the food was good.

The staff were friendly, lovely and clearly trying hard. However, our sink in the room was cracked and not a proper shower and I couldn’t be bothered to use the bath. Breakfast was okay but it was too greasy for me and no yogurts but rice pots? It was okay.

A good place for our overnight stay. The bed was massive and comfortable. Room was clean as was en-suite although a shower would improve this setting. Breakfast was good and host was amicable.

Fantastic stay

Had a lovely stay in the family room which was massive, there was loads of space and one room had an enormous double bed with an adjoining room with two very comfy single beds. Great nights sleep had by all and a lovely breakfast in the morning what more can you ask for.

Restored 1816 inn, locally family owned and run. Picturesque village. In an area seeped in history. One of the best hotel experiences i have ever had in my 79 years.
