Excellent place to stay for an early flight. We ended up staying the night before as well and went into Helsinki on the train on a day pass (only 12 Euros). It was steps from the hotel, and basically constant service. We never had to wait to get on one more than a minute or two. And we didn’t have to worry about transferring luggage from one hotel to another. Really a perfect experience. The only thing I missed there was salami type meat on the breakfast buffet, but the rest of the selection there more than made up for that! Will definitely stay again if I’m in Helsinki.

Great hotel to stay for a short stopover, right beside the airport and only 30 minutes by train to Helsinki city centre. Nice bar, comfy and modern rooms, cosy beds and excellent breakfast buffet. All in all great stay!

Scandic Airport is one of my favorite hotels for a number of reasons: it's only 3 minutes walk from the airport, it has a great breakfast buffet and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
