"Everything looks good in this room"

"In the middle of the night, the hotel manager attempted to allow another person to enter my room. I had to call the police because I didn’t understand what was happening. It scared me so much that I left the hotel immediately and drove 92 miles in the rain so that I could stay at another hotel at 2 AM. The TV did not work. There were homeless looking people sitting outside smoking cigarettes. The place was disgusting and primed to be on an episode of cops. La Quinta should be embarrassed. I am expecting a refund for this horrible stay."

"Attempted to check in and no one was at desk and front door was locked. After an hour and several phone calls a woman answered the door and said the place was full even after looking at my reservation itinerary. Had to go to a different hotel."

"Oh wow! What a surprise! Truthfully, I was not expecting much, but the price was right and for one night, that was pretty much my deciding factor, for a downtown location. I was actually anticipating a kind of run-down, old hotel in a backwater WV town. It was beautiful. My room was really nice, and it. was. spotless. Tons of free parking on-site. The front desk was super helpful in finding a place to eat. If I had *any* complaint at all, it was the in-hotel bar was closed by the time I got there. Other than that, I was really pleased. I would definitely stay again."
