"This small hotel is very clean and modern. My wife and I had a room with 'partial sea view', in fact an excellent view of the old Venetian harbour fort and breakwater and the sea beyond. The room had a small balcony with two chairs and small table. The bed was very comfortable; if you are of a larger build, you might find the ensuite bathroom fairly snug. There was a good choice of options at the buffet-stye breakfast, and the hotel staff were all lovely and helpful. The hotel is in a small backstreet where parking nearby is almost impossible, but there are paid parking options within reasonable (10-minute) walking distance. The narrow system of one-way streets takes some getting used to if you do happen to be driving. It's a very good base for exploring central Heraklion: lots to see nearby! The hotel does not do evening meals, there would be no point given how many decent restaurants there are in the vicinity."
