Kork Haus - Whole house rental in Downtown Hermann

This beautiful historic home with original woodwork and transom windows has 3 upstairs bedrooms and one large bathroom. The main floor has a very large eat in kitchen with all the amenities. The large living room is perfect for gathering with friends and family. There is one half bath on the main floor as well. The front and back porch are perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and catching up with friends. There is a large picnic table in the backyard as well. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a day bed with trundle. The second bedroom has a queen bed, the third bedroom has a double bed. There is a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. There is WiFi at the house but we do not have a TV.

Kork house in Hermann

We had a very nice stay in the Kork House. It's clean and spacious and close to everything in Hermann. We also enjoyed playing games in the yard and sitting outside. Thank you!

Perfect for Bachelorette group

The check-in and check out process was so easy. The house was very clean and was as described. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. The trolley picked us up and we enjoyed the day at several wineries and there is a great local bar right by the house we visited at night.

I ended up not staying. Our family group consisted of old and young, the older folks not wanting to party all night. It wasn't clearly stated that there were no TV's in the house. I just assumed that was standard. My half blind husband isn't going to hold a phone to his face to watch the news or a program to relax.

Perfect respite from biking the Katy Trail, close to downtown

We were a group of adult bicyclists biking across the Katy Trail, staying 2 nights in Hermann for a break. Main needs were washer and dryer and an oven for a home/cooked meal after 4 days on the trail. These simple accommodations provided that plus a big kitchen/dining room for a family style meal.

The location was great. Walking distance to many options. They style of the home was older, maybe historic. The only uncomfortable thing was the walls are paper thing and you can hear everything. Especially when others are trying to sleep. Other than that is was great.
