Our group enjoyed this home to the fullest. It was spectacular from sunup to sundown. It was conveniently located to all the beautiful places to go like Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood, Badlands, Custer Park, Dervil's Tower, Spearfish, Sturgis and much more. The weather was perfect. I just can't say enough about this home. If you want to come to South Dakota stay here, you will not regret it. The group from North Carolina.

This place was awesome. One of the cleanest vrbos I’ve ever stayed at! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking supplies, spices, and coffee. There were a ton of blankets and towels which was great. The outdoor spaces were awesome and well stocked with balls and toys, a playset, patio furniture. The grill was the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Such a great location. A short walk down the driveway and you could see Mt. Rushmore which was so cool!! We also saw lots of deer, turkeys, and bunnies. We also were able to order grocery delivery from Safeway which made everything super easy. Could not recommend enough!!

Wonderful family vacation cabin

We had a large family gathering and stayed 3 nights at this beautiful property. It was perfect for our family of 20 that ranged from infants to grandparents. We would recommend this place to anyone! The slack line and play set on the property was a huge hit and eating outside on the large porch was so peaceful and relaxing. A really great place.

This was an amazing property. We had a group of 13, everyone had their own bed. We made lots of meals in their very stocked kitchen. We also seen a lot of wildlife right next to the cabin. Unforgettable vacation!

Very nice place

We enjoyed our stay as the house was so centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit. There were enough bedrooms for all of us and my grandkids liked the loft. And the blooming lilac bush was so fragrant!The kids can get loud and the open staircase really carried the sound, but after the first day we adjusted and it wasn't really a problem.

Hermosa House

Perfect house for our family of 8-grandparents, parents, and grandkids. Plenty of room, clean, well appointed. The house is within easy proximity to Keystone, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer SP and the two National Parks. Would definitely recommend!

Awesome place

The house was awesome! I took my kids and grandkids. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortable, plenty of towels and a great view of wildlife! Lots of games to do at the house and close to all areas we went to. Bobby Jo was wonderful and Monte went above and beyond! Would highly recommend this house! We will be back for sure!

Excellent family vacation spot

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had 14 people in our group, ranging from an infant to grandparents, and there was plenty of space for us all. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook big group dinners. We loved the huge deck with ample seating, and our kids especially loved playing in the yard and with the games out there. The area was quiet and it felt like we had it all to ourselves. The host and owner were responsive, friendly, and helpful. A couple of the mattresses could stand to be replaced, but other than that, we were very happy!

One of A Kind

We had a small family reunion with our kids and their families, 11 people ages 8 months to 65 YO. It was a very special weekend and this beautiful property was a big part of it. The property is secluded but convenient to Rushmore, Custer Park, Keystone, and other attractions. It's quiet, beautiful, very tastefully furnished, plenty of service ware, cooking, and grilling amenities. We've stayed in a lot of properties in the hills and this is by far our favorite.

Fun

We had a couple of different families coming together for a “Rushmore” Labor Day weekend retreat. Everyone was able to find the property with relative ease. The grounds are taken care of and have a great seclusion aspect. In the morning a great sunrise and beautiful views. The wrap around deck is fantastic for families who have several different age groups. I would highly recommend this property for families that are looking for a quiet retreat. Fantastic communication with the property owners as well!!!

Great for a family reunion!

This house was absolutely perfect for us! My siblings, parents and I do a family get together every year and this house may be the best one we’ve stayed at yet! We had 5 couples and 2 kids under 12. The rooms and beds were great and comfortable, the loft (which is open, no door, just for those looking!) was great and we could’ve fit more people if we needed to! Everything we needed was there, everything was in working order. The playset outside and the slack line with rings between the trees and the saucer swing hanging from the tree were all perfect for the kids! Plus foozball and toys and games inside! Great outdoor space for tossing the frisbee and football around that we brought. The house was in a very quiet place with plenty of open space but was still an easy 20-30 minutes from all the main tourist attractions like Mount Rushmore, Reptile Gardens, and Bear Country (with no traffic to deal with!). Overall we were very very happy with our stay!

6 adults and 3 children 4 and under

We chose this house because we wanted three bathrooms and enough space for an active toddler and preschooler. We were not disappointed. The location is close to the kid centered activities we were interested in. Reptiles Garden, Storybook Island, Mount Rushmore and Sylvan Lake. We did have a couple of longer drives but they were well tolerated by the children. There was a wonderful swing on the property and a slack line my 4 year old granddaughter thought was fun. We had a problem with the water pressure that was resolved within 30 minutes of seeking help. As this was a family vacation and our grandchildren are young we did not do much hiking. Although we did make it around Sylvan lake. On the way home my husband and I drove Needles highway and also went through the Badlands. May is a wonderful time to visit the area.
