"Hotel itself is very small with limited available snacks or drinks in premises. Health spa is a short walk with more by way of amenities and a retail park is also within walking distance."

"Perfect for couples. It was quiet with beautiful surroundings. We took a walk to the river from the castle, and it was quiet as though we had the whole grounds to ourselves. The food was delicious and the room was cozy with a spacious bathroom. We were lucky as there was a wedding on and as a result, we were treated to a nighttime fireworks display! For us a 10/10. But be mindful that there is no AC in the room - that didn't bother us but might be an issue for others. Also note it's worth checking if there are events on as we didn't realize that if we had arrived earlier, we could have gone on a tour of the castle and had afternoon tea. We are looking forward to visiting again."
