"We used the Pickled Parson as a home base for a month while visiting family. The room we had for that duration of a stay was a little small, but it was comfortable, clean and made up daily. "Large bedroom and recently modernised en-suite. All clean and tidy. Nice and warm (4 day stay in January). Breakfasts were excellent and the food available for the evening meals in the pub part of the hotel was also good. All of the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The car park is big. Breakfast does not start until 7.30am. You order it from the menu the night before and it was always ready for 7.30 for me, but I was there on business it left me quite tight for getting to my meeting...

"I have stayed before , it’s very cheap and it’s en suite , I would stay agsin for price - they have an issue in the loft pf the property with vermin either rats or pigeons I have noticed that every time I have stayed - the pub is nice and serves great food downstairs - the rooms just feel like an after thought and not really a hotel ."
