A beautiful, spacious and pleasant holiday home

This beautifully renovated holiday home has 5 rooms and can accommodate 20 people comfortably. Originally a school, this house is in Wijtschate and has been renovated, now is ideal for a group of friends or family with kids. Wijtschate belongs to the woody municipality of Heuvelland, which offers lots of leisure activities. The many walking, cycling and horse riding paths will lead you to welcoming local villages which have their own attractions. Visit the various museums or discover the local gastronomy. The blackboard, maps of the world and writing desks will remind you of the history of this monumental house. The living room is decorated like a cafe with a bar and offers different games, like table football, which will delight young and old. You can find public transport 10 km from the house whereas the town center is 5 km from here. You can stock up your general supplies 10 km from this place.
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

We hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad in dit "schooltje" met 20 vrienden. We hadden alles wat we nodig hadden. Zeer ruime vakantiewoning met ook zeer goed uitgeruste keuken. Aanrader!

- Superlocatie om net na de eindexamens van juni het 'schooljaar' van de kinderen nog even te verlengen :-) - Goed uitgeruste keuken - Geweldige recreatieruimte met gezelschapsspelen in authentieke bruine kroeg-stijl - Verzorgde tuin, met comfortabel meubilair in een uiterst rustige omgeving.

Een geweldige accommodatie. De ontvangst was uiterst vriendelijk en in de aanloop naar en tijdens het verblijf goed bereikbaar. De accommodatie is van alle gemakken voorzien en het schoolthema voegt absoluut iets toe aan de locatie. De tuin is ruim, de slaapkamers goed ingericht en de keukenapparatuur geavanceerd genoeg om ook goed te kunnen koken. De heuvelachtige Vlaamse omgeving is prachtig.

Bewegwijzering met gps, nam te veel binnenwegen ,kan beter langs afrit werving. Joggers lopen op aalten vinden dit niet leuk.

Wij kwamen voor de tweede keer naar het Oude schooltje omdat we ons geen beter huis kunnen indenken. Wij waren met 12 volwassenen en 5 tieners. Een volledig uitgeruste keuken, met potten en pannen waarin echt kan gekookt worden, voldoende eetgerei, een professionele afwasmachine, een grote oven... Een aangename zitruimte en ontspanningsruimte met een toog waaraan kan geleuterd worden. Elke slaapkamer heeft zn eigen sanitair, voor de kinderen is er voldoende ruimte om ongestoord te kunnen spelen. En vooral alles is kraaknet en goed onderhouden.

In team heeft de familie genoten van dit kort familiaal verblijf. We zijn met zijn allen aangenaam verrast over de smaakvolle, originele, praktische en eenvoudige opvatting van jullie vakantiewoning. Het authentieke, het gevoel van de oude school is er duidelijk aanwezig en dit maakt het zo uniek. Bedankt ook voor het hartelijk onthaal en warm welkom, voor het prima en verzorgd logement, de rust en de natuur! Top!!! Een echte aanrader, zowel voor natuur, cultuur en avontuur!

Zeer rustige omgeving, goed uitgeruste keuken, leuke tuin met voldoende tuinmeubilair, BBQ, petanque, ... De kindjes vonden het klaslokaal op de eerste verdieping geweldig. Voldoende andere plekken om rustig te zitten. Wel slaapmasker meenemen, want de kamers geraken niet helemaal verduisterd :-)
