The house is a great house. There were 10 of us, 9 adults and one four year old. We loved sitting on the deck visiting and watching the clouds over the mountains. Location is great. We went to Helen and Babyland General in Cleveland. We were close to my brothers house and my nieces graduation in Hiawassee.I do recommend the house, especially for a large group.

Overall, we enjoyed the cabin. I took away an extra star because of the lack of communication we received. I messaged the host after our first night to alert them of the several hornets nests in the deck (7 nests) and to let them know that there are critters in the walls, ceilings, and fireplace but didn’t receive a response. I also asked where the river access was (since it says river front and advertises a photo of the river with chairs) but did not get a response from that, either. I did get a quick response when I asked to extend our stay by one night (our event lasted longer than expected). The pool was gross - green and kinda had algae or something. My husband jumped in at the deep end and you *could not see him* at the bottom!! That’s how cloudy it was. We immediately got out. Throughout our stay, someone seemed to be always working on the pool pump but it was never closed - a little concerning. The oven also takes forever to heat up / potentially doesn’t work. We tried to use it for frozen pizza but it never got to temp. After about 30 minutes it was only at 160 degrees. The cabin is spacious and a great set up for families. If the communication was better and issues were addressed, we would consider staying here again.
