Awesome view! One of the best mountain and lake views in Hiawassee Georgia. The Perch (362677) is a secluded log home at a dead end street, paved all the way. Relax on a wrap around porch in one of the several rocking chairs with ONE OF THE BEST VIEWS of Lake Chatuge, mountains of Brasstown Bald (tallest point in Ga.) and sunset views, the pictures don't do the view justice! Enjoy a meal on picnic table on the porch or have a cozy fire in the outdoor fire-pit. All the comforts of home with a fully furnished log home that has linens, flat screen cable TV and wireless internet. The 3 bedroom home has one bedroom with a king-size bed with a twin day bed in one bedroom, second bedroom has a queen bed the 3rd room has a queen. Downstairs in the living area there is a twin day bed, TV with sofas. A king-size bedroom with a twin bed and an additional full bathroom is also downstairs. Enjoy a wood fireplace on the main level with a separate living area, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. This home, just 2 miles to town, has a washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave and ceiling fans. CABLE TV with an expanded SPORTS CHANNELS. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet in the beautiful North Georgia mountains.

Such a beautiful property. The view is simply amazing. The house is very nice and had everything we needed to have a great stay. This was our second time at this property and I did not disappoint. We are hoping to make this a yearly vacation spot!

Mountain spring

Amazing View

The porch was amazing. The bar height rocking chairs were a game changer! The cabin is great. Everything was as described. It’s a beautiful area to stay in. It’s quiet and pretty and the people are friendly! The only issue was linens and towels had an unpleasant musty odor to them and they should be replaced.

The great view

This is a great cabin that was exactly as stated in the description. The view from the deck is wonderful. The best with a cup of morning coffee. Only negative is that the parking and room for a vehicle to turn around is very limited.

Beautiful views and privacy

We enjoyed our stay. The drive up to the cabin was a little intense but once we got there, the view was beautiful! We spent most of our time upstairs and on the porch. The downstairs area was a little musty. We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing time.

The Perch

This property is everything you could hope for. The views were amazing! You had the lake below and the cascading mountains behind. The back porch is a must for a peaceful, relaxing morning. The house is positioned at the perfect angle for privacy from other homes.

Very nice view

This cabin was beautiful and close to shopping. The view was beautiful and calming. The bottom floor could be a 2nd apartment, the only thing missing is a kitchen. This cabin had everything we needed and the area was quiet. The only thing we missed was a gas grill. There is a grill available but it is charcoal on the ground floor. We truly enjoyed our stay, thank you!

The name of this property is very suitable!! The Perch.....that it is. Situated at the top of the mountain....last house on this road makes this location so private. Absolutely stunning views. So quiet and peaceful. Home was very spacious and neat and clean. It was just me and my husband.....more space than we could have used. Downstairs was like a another whole living area. We just shut that off, as we didn’t need all the space. Home was fully stocked. Would definitely recommend. Be prepared for the ride to the top of this mountain!!

Awesome view. Nice place to stay. Good host. Beds sort of old and uncomfortable. TVs pretty old and outdated. Big climb up to the place but that’s what makes the view awesome. Thought pets were included but that got added at the last minute. Overall would recommend.

STILL BEST VIEW

This was our second stay here. Though the trees have grown up a bit, it still a great place to sit on the porch and see the lake and the mountains. Very quiet spot.

Found pubic hairs on sheets. Beds never swept under. Found a “roach joint” under bed while looking for my socks. Need better cleaning supplies. Dishes were dirty and countertops greasy. Fantastic view!

Enjoyed the cabin. It had everything we needed. It was quiet and peaceful. The view is so beautiful. We sat outside a lot enjoying the view. We would rent again. The only issue was the drive up was a little steap but the view is worth the drive.
