Beautiful Bel Aire Overlook, a Hiawassee mountain home with a gorgeous year round view of the Appalachian mountains and Lake Chatuge. Enjoy a large porch with western exposure. This home has 3 bedrooms. Two queen bedrooms with TV's are on the main level with 2 full baths. One bathroom has a tub shower combo and the other has a jetted garden tub. Fully furnished kitchen and washer and dryer on the main level and a second washer and dryer downstairs off the kitchenette, The living room on the main level has a large sofa and sitting areas with a beautiful view of the mountains and a wood burning fireplace. The kitchen table has seating for 5 and there are 4 bar stools at the kitchen counter. A spiral staircase leads to a downstairs second living area with a large pit group sofa for reclining to watch movies or TV. Downstairs also has a kithchenette with a second refrigerator, microwave, stove and sink. The third bedroom downstairs has king bed and TV. A full bathroom is also downstairs as an ensuite to the king bedroom. A separate area has a pool table, TV and seating with access to the outside lower level. There are two 4 person high bistro table a regular height around dining patio table that also seats 4 people. Extra bedding for children or petite adults on 2 padded cots with sheets extra linens. Camera over parking area only for safety. Two steps to the main floor from the parking area and wrap around balcony. Come and visit Beautiful Bel Aire Overlook, you will not believe the view!

The space was huge! Each bedroom set was gorgeous with views of the forest and/or lake. The upstairs kitchen area was ample for cooking and, together with the deck-side grill, we cooked up a really nice birthday meal.On top of that, the owners were very responsive to our inquiries and ensured that we had everything that we needed. This rental was truly a pleasant surprise as it was under our tight vacation budget. We had not expected to have this much room on such a budget. Highly, highly recommended!

Exceptional view, comfortable beds, close to everything. My spouse, seventeen year old and I stayed for a weekend. Lots to do with a beautiful view. Totally recommend.

Awesome place

This was one of the best vacation rentals I have stayed at in a really long time! The views were fabulous and it was a really relaxing vacation for me and my husband. The house is 2 minutes away from town so that is really convenient. Overall it was a wonderful vacation for us and we definitely plan on returning in the future!

Great Spot - Comfortable and Convenient

My team had a great stay here! The place was super clean, comfortable, and had everything they needed to feel right at home. The location was great, quiet and convenient for them. Great Time at a Good Spot

Great summer get-away

This is our second stay at Bel Aire overlook and we're still impressed with the outstanding views and quiet, secluded location. We like the dog friendly policy, too.

Great Property

Host Karen made checking and our stay very easy and pleasurable. The property was just as expected, the view from the upper deck is inviting and made sitting on the porch nice no matter what time of day. Would stay here again.

Thanksgiving in the Georgia mountains

On recent visit over Thanksgiving, we stayed at this cabin with spectacular views. The cabin is located close to shopping but still offers privacy with only a few houses on the mountain. The only things I would recommend is a larger TV in the family room area and more comfortable seating in the same area also a larger dining table.

Winter getaway

Great house, loved the view. Everything on site you could need. Close to town and lake. Karen the property manager is the best. Kind, helpful, diligent, knowledgeable, caring. Can’t say enough about her. Made checking in and out a breeze. Would recommend this property to anyone who wants to enjoy everything Hiawassee has to offer.

Last minute trip

Great location with everything you need. My wife and I had our own room and bathroom and both boys had their own bed and bathrooms. Enjoyed the pool table and the views.

Had a blast relaxing in nature

My buddy and I brought our 2 kids each for a few days and had a blast. Upstairs and downstairs both had a kitchen and laundry, so nice. If I ever go back to the area I will for sure try to stay there again.

Always a Pleasurable Stay

This was our 4th stay at this property, so obviously, we enjoy it a lot. We were even there for Thanksgiving this time. Besides being a great location, the place is always clean and has all the amenities that we need. And we're generally able to communicate with the property managers as needed. Overall, a great place !

Great views

Was looking for a property with a view and this one delivered. The pictures do not do the view justice. There is a 180 degree view of the mountains and the lake. The location is a very short drive up the mountain from town. The check in and policies are a little different from other VRBO's but it all worked out.

Perfect place

The stay was more than what we hoped for. This was our first time using VRBO and the owners were amazing. If we had any questions or concerns they answered in a timely manner and were very polite and accommodating. We stayed for 9 days for Christmas and they decorated the place for the occasion. The place was very clean and offered so many amenities. The kids had plenty to do between puzzles, board games and the Xbox. The view was absolutely gorgeous. The town is beautiful and at the bottom of the hill. This place is literally close to everything. Ingles grocery store, dollar general, thrift stores antique shops,dairy queen, McDonald's and other small town restaurants. We will be renting here again soon.

Perfect!

This property and view are just amazing! House is very clean and comfortable and roomy and well supplied to meet all your needs. I will say that the road up to the cabin is steep and curving according to us flatlanders that are not accustomed, but we managed pretty well! Communication to the manager was great and any questions or concerns were met immediately! We would reccomend this property and others managed by this person to anyone and we would absolutely return! Thank you for sharing this property with us and your hospitality!

PERFECT!!!!

This was a perfect house for a get-away! First of all, the view was breathtaking. Pictures can't do it justice. We only used the upstairs of the house and it was great. The kitchen had every pot and pan we needed (we did bring our own foil and plastic wrap and were glad we had.) The bedrooms were quite large and comfy and they had a view of the mountains. We spent quite a bit of time out on the deck. Plenty of seating and, again, we could not tear ourselves away from the view. Inside, there was plenty of space and comfortable furniture to sit around. We are already looking at our calendars trying to figure out when we can go again! This home is extremely close to the grocery store, gas stations and a Walgreens so even though we felt like we were on our own mountaintop, we could easily dash out if we needed to. Karen was VERY attentive and quick to respond. We had a great long weekend here!
