Wouldn’t stay again. Very noisy. Room was all satisfactory however didn’t feel comfortable or safe being a single women. The rooms around also banged doors all night.

The building was constructed in 1790 as one of a pair of candle-powered lights. It was electrified in 1947. The tower is 85 ft tall, putting the lantern at 134 ft above sea level.
