Leo the owner, is welcoming and very accomodating. He generously gives you tips on activities and restaurants.
The place itself is nice, well decorated. My room was of regular size, with a nice shower. It was very clean and quiet, as it was quite far from the street. AC was working very well, WIFI was good too. You can start your day with a nice coffee made by the owner, and a croissant or some sort of...

Gran Hotel de Merida
10/10 Excellent
"It was very nice and very clean. One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed in with a great view. Close to many restaurants and activities safe to walk, a lot of entertainment we hope will come back soon. "
"Great location, great value for the price.
The room was clean, the WiFi was good, the service was excellent.
Beautiful building and courtyard, and the pool is very nice."
"The Courtyard by Marriott Merida Downtown is now one of my favorite places to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was nice, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. I'll be staying there again in the near future. Thank you for making my stay really good."
Romance is alive in this gorgeous old opera house in central Merida, where actors still tread the floorboards and the sweet sounds of violins fill the air.
