"Mansion Merida is a real gem. The converted mansion is so lovely, they serve a great breakfast in the central courtyard and our room was very comfortable. The staff is the perfect mix of professional, attentive and friendly - they scheduled tours and made us feel right at home. The owner, Raul, is very hands on and greeted guests every day. The location on a cute square just a block from the cathedral square and two from the Park Santa Lucia is central to the city sites. We lived Mansion Merida...

"We had an excellent stay at Villa Orquidea and still had more places on our list after a week in Merida. Our hosts Griselda, Sonia & Denise were very helpful with ideas for restaurants, things to see and private drivers. There are so many good restaurants! Breakfast was delightful including home-made banana bread, though we mostly ate light. "

"We absolutely loved our time in Merida and staying at the CIGNO Hotel was perfect for us. A little removed from the Centro of town but easily walkable and completely safe, day or night. The hotel was absolutely lovely. 10 spacious rooms, excellent staff and food. We enjoyed breakfast each morning and had two dinners as well. The margaritas are exceptional. The entire staff is pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again while visiting Merida!! "

Breakfast served on the outside patio was a lovely start to the day. If you like salsa dancing, La Negrita is a short walk down the street. I loved staying at Hacienda Merida. It made my last few days in Merida a pleasure!"

"This hotel is fantastic really. Our room was VERY clean and comfortable. Love seat, little table, microwave, mini fridge, little sink, good hot water, king bed, a little coffee maker, TV and good a/c. It is in the perfect location close to 3 parks and restaurants all around AND the restaurant in the hotel is excellent. Staff helped us gringos in so many ways, they are super. Good security. Nice pool. We love the place."
