"Although they say the rooms are remodeled they are done cheaply. The beds are not comfortable. The room smells. I am sure it was a smoking room at one point. It has affected my allergies. And I always request non smoking The halls lobby elevators etc have not been remodeled and need it badly. The bathroom is so small you cant even get dressed in it.I am glad i will only be in rhe room for 10 hours. I would never recommend this hotel. "

"I spent 3 nights in a 3rd-floor room here and was generally pleased. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The kitchen nook was a plus although the freezer badly needed defrosting. Everything was clean and worked, although the desk chair was surprisingly beat-up looking. Free breakfast was better than most. Parking was easy and the location convenient, in Decatur's southern burbs. Staff was pleasant but street noise was audible in my room despite being on the top floor. Regardless, if I were returning to the area I'd stay here again."
"We stay in Decatur frequently and don’t know by we never stayed here before. The lobby is gorgeous & the staff super friendly.
The free breakfast is probably the best hotel breakfast we’ve encountered in our many travels. Our room was clean and comfortable. The facility has some wear on it but it was still a fantastic stay. "
"Service was wonderful. Staff very helpful. Rooms very clean. Would stay there again and will recommend to friends.
Painting outside grey and white looks wonderful"
Budget Friendly, long terms welcome, Decatur central
2/10 Terrible
"Listing did not match the description. Home smelt terrible of smoke. Carpet, couch and property was very unclean. Standing water in the basement that made the house smell even more. Only 4 clean towels for 3 people and 3 nights. Only 1 extra blanket. No hand towel for bathroom. We had to purchase toilet paper as there was less than 1 roll. Door would not lock shut unless we pulled up on the entire door and held it up while it locked. Had to purchase cleaning supplies to make it so we could stay. Contacted VRBO to try and get this fixed. Spoke to the host and they never responded. Worst experience ever and use VRBO several times a year. "
