"We loved staying here!! It was me, my husband, our friends who are a couple, and our small dog. The home & property are beautiful. Beds were comfy, kitchen was fully stocked, there were games & records to play. Loved watching the fireflies in the backyard. As Judy mentions, it’s well water, so there’s a sulfur smell/taste. "Our stay was everything we needed and wanted. The cottage was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed and the owners were friendly. "This is a lovely cottage that's perfectly situated between the town of Woodstock and the Overlook Mountain trail. Wonderful ambiance, great mattress, generously-appointed kitchen. Only caveat is that the ceilings are quite low in some spots — especially the kitchen entrance and the upstairs loft-style bedroom. Bumped my head a few times when I forgot to duck!"

"We spent 3 days at Jim and May's place - it was the first time we had gone away since our new baby arrived. It was the perfect spot for a few days to enjoy the beauty of the Ashokan Reservoir and the fun of Woodstock (only a 20 min Dr) Jim and May were so gracious, super communicative and were the perfect hosts. The outdoor space with a porch swing was so enjoyable for our little one. It was also super dog friendly which is so so hard to find up in the Hudson valley."

"We needed a central location for my daughter’s bridal shower. We could not have imagined a better place. It is beautiful and so natural. Glen was helpful and welcoming. He even came over to sweep off the expansive patio before our guests arrived and this was after he made sure everyone was awake. The house was well supplied with kitchen and dining items. The grounds were perfect - lawn chairs, picnic table, fire pit and free range chickens whose eggs we were able to enjoy. We would all stay here...
