"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin on Lake Shoecraft. First, Mark was an incredibly communicative host -- clear, friendly, helpful, and responsive. The cabin is rustic and cozy with a lovey view of the lake. We loved the wood-burning stove and exploring the lake with the paddleboards and kayaks. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen very well stocked. The bedroom with the bunk beds is on one side of the house and the bedrooms with the king and queen beds next to the living room on the other side, so if you have a couple of families with kids, the adults can socialize after the kids have gone to sleep without keeping them up. "We had such a relaxing visit at this beach home. The house is older and a bit quirky. The shower. IYKYK But the water pressure is amazing. The windows open up the house and let all the light in. The view of the water is incredible. You are literally right there. We would visit again!"

"Kitchen had all cooking items needed and was clean. Table was sticky but not from food more like the coating on it. House was very clean. The master bedroom had a strong smell of some type of cleaner. Beds were comfortable. This was a nice house for the 6 of us and that we were able to bring our family pet was wonderful. It was also nice that beach access was directly across the street."

"We had a variety of ages, and it was nice to have rooms on main level to avoid stairs. The loft space was nice and roomy, but beds are not in private spaces which was not a concern for us, but you need to navigate stairs for that sleeping area. The lower level of house in outside pictures is not part of the rental. The view is awesome, and a great beach access is a 5-minute drive away at Kayak Regional Park. Very enjoyable home and beach access not far away."

"We've stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this one is at the top of our list! We felt welcomed from the moment we entered this peaceful space. Not only was the home spotless, it was well organized and stocked. We felt like we were staying with friends that anticipated our every need. The beach access is across the street and we saw orcas, seals, porpoises, crabs, fish, starfish, etc. The friendly neighbors welcomed us with suggestions for wildlife sightings, berry picking, walking trails, and local must sees. The communication with our host was prompt, helpful, and friendly. We stayed in this home while we were visiting family, which doesn't really count as "vacation" but this home made us feel like we really were vacationing. We hope to stay again soon!"
