I contacted Garrard the day of check in so see if we were able to check in a little earlier, and he responded quickly, allowing us early access ( we ended up checking in very close to original check in time, but appreciated the willingness). Mountain Valley Inn Dillard
My room was clean the bed was super comfortable so were the pillows. The front desk person was friendly and informative. I did not eat breakfast there because I meet family for lunch. I would definitely stay there again.

Hampton Inn Franklin
We were really comfortable staying in this hotel. Tucked away off the main road, and they have a really nice area for the dogs outside. Breakfast was good, but you absolutely must eat early, otherwise there is not enough seating. Bed was very comfortable.
