Comfort hotel is always the best no frill hotel available to when visit Japan. It doesn’t have a lot of bell and whistle like other hotel, but it always have reasonable size room and hearty and healthy breakfast to keep you going when travelling around Japan.
Very good service. Easy to check in and out. Also very clean and organized

Very comfortable budget hotel. Good staff. Great breakfast included. Beside train station. The only downside is that it’s not close to the lake or any sites you want to see, like the Hikone Castle. Would definitely stay there again.
Spacious room, clean and tidy as well.
Lots of parking spaces, and a big shopping mall in the neighbourhood.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Very nice breakfast offerred.
Staff was very helpful. Breakfast buffet was good and had a decent variety. Note that early check-in and late check-out are perks for Comfort Club Members, so they enforce the 3pm check-in time for everyone else. If that's important, you should sign up before you arrive.
Located on the East side of the station. Most all of the stores and restaurants are located on the West side. Easy enough to go through the station even though Google Maps wants you walk all the way around. Likewise, there are sometimes taxis on the East side, there are always several on the West side. There are two restaurants on the first floor of the hotel. One looked like a large Izakaya chain. It was just okay. Didn't try the other one - Kitaya Kitchen.

Close proximity to the train station was a key feature in choosing this hotel. We stayed on the side opposite the tracks and didn't hear any train noise. Rooms are small and minimalist but clean, staff were friendly, breakfast was really quite good.
Much larger than your standard business hotel. Very close to train station and 20mins walk to Hikone castle. Good breakfast too. Overall great value and we even got a view of the castle from our room!
The rooms were tiny. My wife and I had to coordinate to open our suitcases. There was basically just a bed and a tiny amount of space around it. It certainly didn’t feel like 140 square feet.
On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was very nice.
