Black Hills Getaway
A perfect home base for exploring! Can't beat the location for visiting the national parks/monuments as well as Custer State Park. Convenient to hiking trails. Cute log cabin with well-equipped kitchen. Comfy living room to relax in after spending the day outdoors. Quiet and peaceful.

The cabin was very nice. The only issue we had was with our mobility issues. Some of the accommodations were not as accessible as we would have liked. This was all on me though as I did not thoroughly check things out. We loved the location and the cabin was very clean and decorated so cute. It was very homey.

Quaint & Cozy!
The "Couples Cabin" was perfect for our little get-away. It was quaint & cozy, and the perfect location if you want to be right in the Black Hills and close to so many great tourist spots. Despite the snowfall, we enjoyed hiking in the surrounding area and coming back to our cozy cabin. It had all of the amenities that you would need - it felt like our home away from home. We highly recommend it!

Secluded get away!
This little cabin is such a wonderful space all its own, even though it’s right next-door to the owners property! You feel like you in a completely private area! The cabin was very, very clean and perfectly stocked with anything that we could need! Communication was wonderful, and we loved our stay!

The cabin is so cute! Clean. Comfy and has everything you could need or want . The area is so beautiful and the downtown of Hill city is a 1.5 mile walk which we loved doing after a day of riding .

Cabin is tucked back off the Highway leading into Hill city. Made for a perfect landing spot to wind down and relax after a long day of hiking trails and kayaking.

Perfect Location
The Couples Cabin was just perfect for my husband and I. The place was very clean and the king size bed was super comfortable. This also was the perfect location to visit Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Devil’s Tower national monuments.

We had the most relaxing time at the couples cabin. Annie and her husband are one of the most gracious host that we have ever encountered. The couples cabin is very comfortable and clean. They went out of their way to make everything comfortable for us we can’t thank them enough. We will stay there again when we visit Hill city South Dakota.

We enjoyed our stay at the Couple’s Cabin very much. The cabin was very clean and we had everything we needed. Even though it is located next to the owner’s own home, the cabin is quiet and the entrance and outdoor area very private. We would definitely stay here again.

Special Celebration
Came to the Black Hills to celebrate my 50th bday. The cabin was perfect. It was located right in the middle of all the things we wanted to do. We cook some and everything we needed was there. The only trouble we had was we forgot about the time change and arrived in the dark. I struggle finding the cabin in the dark but a very friendly neighborhood told us to drive in a little deeper and then we found it. Totally enjoyed our stay.

Very clean and cozy although right next to a house and highway.
This cabin wasn't too far off the road but still pretty hidden. This was a very clean and neat cabin and the cooking pots and pans were very nice! Refrigerator was very clean, and everything smelled pleasant. The king size bed was AMAZING!!!! Shower had good water pressure and lots of hot water. My boyfriend and I had a very lovely stay here.

Great little cabin, even though there was snow outside and the temps were sub 10°F at times, it was warm and cozy. Close to breweries, wineries, restaurants, and within great driving distance of most all local attractions. The host and hostess were very accommodating since we had to change our travel plans last minute due to bad weather. Highly recommend the couples cabin

Great Location!
This cozy cabin was the perfect "home base" for our explorations. We were able to hike in the Badlands, Spearfish Canyon, AND Custer State Park (Black Elk Peak). We biked on the Mickelson Trail (easy to rent bikes in nearby Hill City). Rapid City is close by, too. We enjoyed having a comfortable place to come home to each evening. The hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need while on vacation.

We loved how this home was hidden across a creek tucked against the trees. We saw deer everyday out the window. All was very clean and we could always stay comfortable...the temperature outside ranged from 95° one day and dipped to a frosty morning another day. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly like to stay there again someday.

Perfect cabin in Hill City
Our stay at the couple’s cabin was absolutely perfect. It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Very good location to all areas of the Black Hills. This was hands down the cleanest rental we ever stayed in and we have stayed in many over the years. The owners have provided everything you could need during your stay. We were able to cook our own meals and use the gas grill which was also very clean. Mornings were delightful out on the side porch. We stayed 3 nights as part of a 5 week cross country road trip and wish we could have stayed longer. Some folks have stated that the internet did not work at times and we also experienced this a few times, but we found this to be true at other more remote locations on our trip. You will sleep well on the very comfortable king sized bed. The sofas were also very comfortable and tv worked great. We loved this cozy cabin!

Cabin was definitely super comfy inside and out! Just the quiet relaxing couple getaway we were looking for. The most comfortable couch and bed I have ever had in a Vrbo. But I have to say that the black and white outdoor kitty Zach was quite the host! He definitely showed us around he even walked with me in the forest looking for fire wood. We will definitely be back!

We liked the cabin and the hostess. But the cabin is so close to them you are looking into their backyard and greenhouse. There is very little view on the other side as you can only see a steep hill. The wi fi and tv were inconsistent or unusable.

We have Dish Network for the TV and a booster for the WIFI. Sometimes if the weather is stormy it will interfere with the dish reception. Generally, it works well. The cabin is tucked in behind the main house, so our backyard is on one side and Forest Service is on the other side. It is cozy and private. Not situated to have an expansive view.

BEYOND Wonderful!
We reserved the "Couples Cabin" for our 20th Anniversary retreat! We are SO THANKFUL that we selected this cozy charm! The cabin was just the right size, and was equipped with everything we needed! All we needed was our overnight bags, and groceries! Fresh Water and Coffee were available, and even some condiments if you forget some staples. The quant outside sitting area was perfect to enjoy while using the gas grill they made available. Simply Perfect! We are already talking about when we will book another long weekend there!
