We stayed here with my entire family for a little hills getaway. We loved the location. Tucked away outside of hill city, in a small development. There were horses running around in the area that the kids could feed and interact with. The bike trail is right on the property also. Huge grassy yard. Hot tub was nice. Pool was also nice. The house is huge. Lots of space for everyone and plenty of sleeping space

The property was very clean. The beds are awesome. The downfall is there’s no group seating overall we had a great time. The best part with the horses that ran by every morning.

ATV Hill City Area

This was our groups second time visiting this rental and it has never disappointed. Great communication with renter, cabin was clean, plenty of parking for all our trucks & trailers, close proximity to many years worth of trails to ride. Thank you for renting this home for everyone to enjoy.

Our kids grew up in a crowded house, bunk beds, etc. ...so now they got to enjoy multiple rooms, no sharing a bed, nice hot tub, better views than flat farmland, walking trail a few hundred yards away....Thanks!

Beautiful cabin and beautiful location

We’ve stayed at this lodge twice now and our stay was fabulous both times. The accommodations are great! It is away from the hustle and bustle but close to Hill City and other attractions. We enjoyed our time here immensely. Highly recommend it.

Fun trip

We had a great time! The lodge was very comfortable for all of us! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Matthew was a great host, he was very accommodating when we needed anything! Its was a great 50th Anniversary trip for us and our entire family!!

Great Family Vacation

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with most of our children and grandchildren. The lodge was an excellent place to do so. We had plenty of room, lots of bathrooms and the manager was helpful and fun. We recommend the lodge to everyone!

Great place to stay for a large group.

We enjoyed having several bedrooms and bathrooms. We would have liked a few more large bowls and pots for cooking since our group likes to cook most of our meals when staying somewhere. We had roughly 10 people there and it was difficult to get everyone around one table. Enjoyed the hottub and the outdoor space a lot. The internet was more than enough, it roughly 100 mbps download for reference. A plus for most of us was the lack of cell service, so we could disconnect and enjoy our time.

ATV Trip

We had a group of 12 people and this beautiful property was a perfect fit. Property management was always very helpful with any needs, & communication was great. Large parking area for all our trucks and trailers. This is a great location to access trails for ATVing or any other outdoor activity. Would definitely stay here again when we visit the Black Hills in the future.

Top notch hospitality!

I can not brag enough about the management company. Matthew went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. He answered our every need and even gave us great sight seeing ideas. We would definitely consider booking this house again in the future.

Amazing place to stay when visiting the Black Hills.

Great location when staying in South Dakota. We had a group of 16 and there was plenty of space for all of us. The heated pool and hot tub were awesome, the kids loved it. Nice and close to Hill City. Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse less then 30 minutes away. Great place!! Friendly owners. Never had any issues.

We really enjoyed our time together as a family, and the lodge was big enough for all of us!! Comfortable, relaxing, fun, quiet, warm, just everything about it was great!! Great Place & Stay

We booked this property last minute and the communication was great with Matt, the property manager. Questions, issues, before booking and after, were all promptly answered. The house was fully stocked and my kids loved the hot tub. The weather wasn't quite nice enough for the pool but we'd love to come back when it is!Everything worked as expected and if something didn't, Matt quickly answered/addressed the subject in question. The location was great! We saw deer in/on/around the property every day/night and my kids thought it was awesome! Quiet location, not far from Hill City.Easy in and out - check in/check out/of the house itself - and felt very secure.The responsibilities for check out were very reasonable and easy to do. Appreciated after some of the places we've stayed.Would definitely stay here again!

Girls Getaway

We had such an amazing time. The lodge was everything and more than we had hoped for. We each had our own rooms most with attached bathrooms. Matthew was such an awesome host. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and if we had any questions. The setting was so beautiful an peaceful - we came to relax, unwind and have fun -which is exactly what we got. It is close to so many attractions - there just wasn't enough hours in a day. If we end up in the Hills again for another girls getaway - we will most definitely book here again.
