So the hotel by itself is beautiful. The reason I gave it a one star is because there were two assaults there and the fire alarm was pulled.. The biggest issue I had with that whole ordeal was that our room 1624 was right next to an exit. We followed the signs to the bottom floor and the (EMERGENCY) exit door was locked. We went to the floor above, and that door was locked. We then went another flight up and ended up in the banquet hall room. There was a door open, and we went around and found that we were in the staffs area for the kitchen. We found some stairs and took those stairs down, which brought us out to the floor above the lobby. Once we got down to the lobby we were told to go outside, but there were people sitting in the lobby, so we were told that we could sit down. That whole ordeal was very scary and a fire hazard.. if there would have been a real fire in that hotel, we would have been stuck in the stairwell and could have died. This hotel needs to go and check all of their doors and make sure that if it is an emergency exit that it opened in case of an emergency.

The room was nice. My first room had a problem with the A/C and it never got cold during July. They did move us to a new and better room the next day to make up for a hot night. It was clean, and they gave free water bottles.

The property staff was awesome. Had a problem with TV and never fixed but staff did offer a change of rooms which I did not accept.

It was a truly wonderful experience. The hotel was exceptional and the area has plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops to walk around and experience. Thank you!
