Dovecote in Aston Flamville A plaque on the front of the dovecote reads: This building was restored in 1977 by the Powner family of Aston Flamville in co-operation with the Blaby district council. It lies in a small field next to Lychgate Lane. The dovecote is dated to 1715.

Burbage Common Country Park Burbage Common is a 200-acre Country Park and SSSI popular with birdwatchers, walkers and horseriders. It is one of the few areas of unimproved acid grassland to the south west of Leicester as a result of it being used as common grazing land since the eighteenth century Enclosure Acts. The land is managed by Hinkley and Bosworth Borough Council as Spring or Summer meadows, with either a silage or hay crop being taken. The open areas, with their regularly mown bridleways and footpaths, are bounded by ancient oak, ash and maple woodland.

My/Our stay was very comfortable and made effortless by the extra facilities available to Guests. The room was very spacious and clean, although the 'shower cubicle did leak water onto the bathroom floor and the door 'architrave was rotting where the water had leaked.

Leisure facilities were lovely, apart from the cushions on the seats were dirty/mouldy. We unfortunately had noisy people in our corridor, I feel the hotel really should stress to people about having more respect for other guests.

I chose Jury’s Inn because we like a contemporary hotel. It was everything we wanted and more. But it was the staff that blow us away... with their “nothing was too much trouble” attitude, But means so much. We would definitely recommend!
