For the price and location (very easy to find, right off the main road), Pines Motel offered a five star stay. It's very clean, the staff is friendly and kind, the room stayed nice and cool and the bed was very comfortable, plenty of parking, and the rooms have a cozy vibe, all of which is great when you're on a budget.

Clean and comfortable- way better than I expected from a motel. Friendly and helpful check in. Check out the beaver boardwalk early morning or evening from about 1930, saw beavers and muskrats.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our trip enjoyable. On our first day, the front desk staff took the time to explain the area, recommended places to visit, and gave us great tips on what to do. Whenever we had questions or needed help, they were always happy to assist and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Their friendliness and exceptional service made our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a great stay. A couple of minor issues we brought up with the staff through private message that didn’t need to be part of a review. Room was a nice size, clean, and suited our needs. The gentleman who checked us in was very polite and helpful and provided a great start to our stay. We will stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Very clean room! Great parking spot, no elevator needed or stairs it seems for all the rooms. Great kind service. We had a wonderful time here. Saw so many wild animals and amazing mountains even beavers on beaver walk nearby. Highly recommend this place. Simple but cannot get any better for the price point.
