Excellent customer service provided by a young lady by the name Hazuki ,who spoke superb English facilitated check in and she explained all the services that were provided by the hotel including the rooftop Onsen. The hotel was really close to the Ferry Terminal and we were able to drop our bags and head off quickly to see the sites. Restaurants close early on the island so eat around 5-6pm. Staying overnight lets you go up the ropeway at 9am before the day crowds hit (they are substantial). We went over on the JR Ferry and came back on the fast boat to the Hiroshima Peace Park. The Ropeway is excellent. Hotel breakfast is very good.

The hotel is very conveniently located, just to the left of the ferry exit. The staff are very friendly and all speak English. The rooms are very clean, and the hot spring baths are a real treat! There's a small bar on the first floor, as well as a lounge for guests to use, offering a variety of free drinks, coffee, tea, and even ice cream. There's also a restaurant on the basement floor, offering a buffet-style Japanese and Western breakfast and dinner, with a wide variety and delicious food. I'd definitely stay here again if I had the chance. Highly recommended!

Charming place. Ideal so that you can feel a part of Miyajima island. Staff could not be more pleasant and helpful. Understand their western guests while still making you feel like you are having an authentically Japanese experience. Great and helpful service from staff on the front desk and a nice hotel in a great location for travel from Hiroshima. The hotel itself is very clean, modern, and well equipped. Would have loved a cold bath and sauna along with the onsen but realize you can't have everything you want.
