"Great Onsen and bedrock sauna on 9th floor and outside tub and room very good. Breakfast and dinner included buffet style not very good but it is optional, not many options nearby. Located in a residential area, high on a hill overlooking the bay so good views but not convenient."
"Beautiful hotel on a beautiful island, my family only stayed one night but it was enough to fully enjoy the traditional japanese style of living; The futon beds were very great!!! And the traditional dinner and breakfast provided was a unique experience for us all, we loved it! "

This might be a good day trip from Hiroshima rather than an overnight.

Good
It was good that we could go to Miyajima, which we had wanted to go for a long time, but it was a pity that we were woken up in the middle of the night by the voice of the hotel's neighbor.
"Excellent customer service provided by a young lady by the name Hazuki ,who spoke superb English facilitated check in and she explained all the services that were provided by the hotel including the rooftop Onsen. Superior food choices offered at breakfast , along with comfortable room options & a very hospitable staff made for a wonderful stay in Miyajima ! "
"What a great ryokan experience! Definitely a highlight of our trip. This was our introduction to an onsen and it was perfect. The meals are a must! The food is so fresh and delicious. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend the Grand Hotel Arimoto and would come again."

"The Miyajima Hotel Makato was an absolutely excellent experience. Their customer service was the best I have ever seen in my life! They were very helpful with every need and request. I absolutely would stay here again! The only thing I would change was the type of room. Make sure you want to stay in a traditional room if that is what you want. It is what we requested and was so cool. Next time I would stay in a modern room. They were excellent!"
"We had a truly memorable stay at the beautiful Kinsuikan in Miyajima. The property itself is in an incredible location, a very short walk from the ferry with spectacular views. The amenities are excellent and include a complementary streetside coffee bar, as well as a rooftop terrace with free beverages and snacks. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We were lucky enough to experience several different rooms and suites. The suites are spacious and luxuriously appointed. It was wonderful to come home to the Kinsuikan after a day exploring the island and I would highly recommend this ryokan to anyone visiting the area."
