The only real downfall, and the only reason I wouldn’t necessarily book here again is that the restaurants book up way too quickly, and the food in the buffet is subpar. "Our stay at Grand Bavaro Princess was truly memorable—very close to a perfect getaway. From the moment we arrived, we noticed how clean and well-maintained the entire resort is. The grounds are beautifully kept, and everything feels organized and relaxing. What really stood out was the staff—they consistently greeted us with a warm “Hola” and were always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. The beach is absolutely stunning, with pristine white sand and clear water that makes it hard to leave. The pools are just as enjoyable—spacious, clean, and perfect for both relaxing and having fun. Being an all-inclusive resort, it really delivers on value. Drinks are freely available, and there’s always something to enjoy without worrying about extra costs. The daily shows at the theater were a great bonus—entertaining for both kids and adults, and something we looked forward to each evening. There’s even a casino on-site if you want a bit more excitement. The only extras we noticed were for premium dishes like lobster, but that’s understandable. Aside from that, almost everything is included, which made the experience feel effortless and enjoyable. Overall, it felt like being on a cruise ship—but on land. Everything you need is right there, and you’re free to just relax and enjoy. We would absolutely recommend it and would happily return again."

"Beautiful property, well maintained! Friendly, hardworking staff. Excellent food, although very hard to get into the restaurants as opposed to the buffet. Small gym for those who want a workout. Highly recommend this hotel! My only complaint was misrepresentation of the snorkeling excursion. It was $80-$100 per person and advertised calm water. It was very choppy, almost scary and we saw very little- even got seasick. Total waste of $$, nothing like the pictures. "

"The Hard Rock was phenomenal! We traveled with 6 kids, 2 teenagers and 4 younger kids and there was something for everyone. There were food trucks with chicken tenders and fries everywhere, evening snacks with waffles, crepes, churros every night. The resort was so massive we probably only saw half of it. We saw 2 evening shows, 1 was supposed to be Dominican but ended up just being karaoke that was lame. The next night was a Beyonce show and WOW, it was so good! There were shuttles all over so no need to rent a golf cart. "
