"This is a true motor hotel, old school but better. You drive up to and park right in front of your room. There is a laundromat if needed.
Nice surprise when we opened the door to our room-LVP flooring, bed lamps with usb, and c cable plug ins, direct tv with ALL the channels (so I got to watch a hockey playoff game I thought I'd have to miss), extremely comfortable hybrid bed, and VERY CLEAN.
Outside has a nice grilling area with lounge chairs, a glider swing, and grilles.
Price is incredible, less than $100. It's a property that appears to be run by a family that has put work and pride into the property.
I highly recommend."
"Family of 4, 2 teens… we can’t wait to go back to the little cabin in the woods. Plenty of room and we could read, watch tv, play games without being in each other’s way. Kim and Doug are wonderful Vrbo hosts. The cabin was spotless and inviting. They provided a golf cart for our use, invited us to use their porch, cooked out and asked us to join them, offered to take us on their pontoon boat, and took us on a tour of their cabin. They shared their stories and time with us and are truly just great people. We went into Edenton and enjoyed the shops and small town charm. We took a cooler with all the food we planned to make. There are 2 small fridge/freezers. We also took our own games. Great trip!"
"Dirty, bugs, trash debris and old furniture outside. Room had bugs. Staff very un professional . Breakfast looked like a someone's leftovers. Very disappointed that this hotel was offered on your site. Won't be using hotels .Com anymore."
"Had a wonderful stay! The room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff was so welcoming. The continental breakfast was pleasing, convenient parking, great location and excellent value. I truly and highly recommend this hotel!!!!"
"The room and bathroom were clean. The room was spacious. Water pressure and temperature was great. Mattress was comfortable but the bed platform made a loud metal rumbling noise every time we got out of bed, not great for light sleepers. Check in took a long time because they had a new system that the night clerk hadn’t been trained on very well. She was very nice and apologetic about the wait, but also made a slightly snarky comment about our diesel truck running outside. The bathroom had very little vanity space to sit a makeup bag and no electrical outlets. I wound up getting ready in the bedroom area at a small table where there was another mirror and I could sit my bag. Overall a good stay for a night or two."
