"We will definitely return. Most accommodating hotel staff that we’ve seen in years. You should have absolutely no hesitancy in staying at this mildly boutique hotel."

"By far the best hotel we’ve stayed in. Everyone was so friendly. Jaclyn (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was extremely helpful and sent me a few texts throughout our stay to make sure our every need was met. The room was clean and well kept. So much space compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in. The view of the river below was breathtaking. Everything was hard wood from the front desk to the sinks in the bathroom. Just gave that warm cozy feeling. Dinner was delicious as well. It’s right across the street from the train station. So close you can walk to it. My husband, kids and I would give it 10 stars if we could. We will drive all the way back from Texas and stay here again! It’s that good."
Log Cabin with a Mountain View. Secluded property with easy access to amenities
10/10 Excellent
"This experience for my family was phenomenal! The house was so much more than the description - so clean, large and roomy. The beds were all comfortable, the hot tub was easy-peasy and felt fabulous against the briskness of the surrounding, snowy mountain. The host has been very easy and friendly to communicate with - this was a top 3 VRBO rental for us, hands down! And the video games and dartboard downstairs with all the board games, perfect! "
"This house was perfect for our stay! It is spacious, updated, tastefully decorated and has a beautiful view. In warmer weather, the deck would have been a great place to enjoy the view, but in the cooler temperatures, the hot tub was a nice outdoor feature. The beds were comfortable, though very high, which might be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. The house was clean and I appreciated that basic items like hand soap, laundry detergent, hand lotion, toilet paper and paper towels were all provided. I also appreciated that other useful items like storage bags, foil, tea and spices were available as well. My only complaint would be that the shower heads weren’t great, and getting the water to come out warm in the master shower was counterintuitive- the further you turned the handle toward warm, the colder it got (handle at 2:30 on a clock face seemed to be the sweet spot for anyone who needs to know). The location is fairly remote, but it’s only about 15 minutes to downtown Durango. We would definitely stay here again."
