"Very clean rooms and bathrooms, amazing shower, extremely helpful and responsive staff on any needs, my only suggestions would be update coffee to be better (look at Fairfield inn coffee and get ideas) and update the bedding style of comforter. Beds were comfortable, great Cable channel choices and great Texas Charm. Go to the Kountry Bakery- and coffee house in Shiner Texas. We also loved Mexican food on the square and see the courthouse "

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the staff seemed to be receptive to any request i asked for. It was very clean & its a good price for the amount of space in the room. It has a microwave & a full size fridge."

"The staff was friendly and the place was quiet. However, the hotel, the Halls, the stairs, the rooms, the kitchen were filthy. When I checked in on Thursday my room smelled a little funny, but not too bad. Friday morning I killed a cockroach in the bathroom. Oh well, you know things happen. By Saturday and Sunday I had killed five cockroaches in my room. When I went down for breakfast on Sunday morning I saw cockroaches on the walls of the dining room. I can't believe that this got an eight rating. I won't be staying here again, I just hope I'm not taking any critters home with me! I hope Expedia updates their rating on this hotel and puts it at about a 5 or less. I'm serious this place was filthy. Why did I stay? Because I didn't have a lot of choices in this little town."

"The AC in the bedroom wasn't working and the keurig only made lukewarm coffee...Otherwise, super cute casita. Had all necessary amenities (and more). We felt very safe. All descriptions were accurate. Shiner was a great little town & all of the people were very friendly. "
