"Large room, nice pools, good donuts. Rooms remodeled but still some things need work. I moved the coffee table closer to the sofa and the floor was damaged underneath. There was a hole in the door near the floor that could allow bugs in; fortunately I did not see bugs. The toilet would either not flush or continue running at times and we had to remove the tank cover and adjust it. The chain lock was missing the part on the door so there was no way to fasten it. I did tell staff when we checked out so hopefully things will be fixed."

"I have to say no matter where I stay I always wish I was back at the Days Inn Daytona Beach Oceanfront. Mainly because it feels like our home away from home. We have coming here for years but this past year we have been here quite a lot due to many unforeseen circumstances we have needed to familiarity and comfort staying here gives us. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Most of all they are happy to see us when we arrive. Easy check in, easy to extend our stay and always feel sad to go. Eddie and the beautiful ladies at the front desk are pleasant and efficient. Always making me smile. Miguel is very helpful. Without a word at alll he shows up with the shower chair and always willing to help in anyway he can. He has even checked on my disabled husband while I’ve been at work. The staff is understanding if his disability and keep an eye on him or will call me to let me know he is out and about. They are literally the Best!!! Rooms are clean, linens are always fresh or new. Housekeeping does well to check on us and keeps us with clean towels and sheets. The new hotel manager is the perfect fit. Accommodating our early check in requests and never lets me check out without asking about my stay. I always feel refreshed upon my departure and ready to come back before I even leave. Thanks to all for making our lives just a bit better and creating a home away from home feel."

"The reason I gave four stars was because the place is old and had signs of upkeep needed. Being from Florida myself, I understand what the beach does to buildings and how quickly they go into disarray. With that being said, the place was very clean and maintained for its age. It had a couple different restaurants and two bars open we didn’t use the fifth floor pool, but we did the one that was out on the deck. It was perfect location for all that’s happening in Daytona. I’m not a fan of having to pay $35 a night for parking overnigh across the street but there’s really nowhere else to park because it’s on the beach. You can walk to a lot of other restaurants and the bandshell, which used to have concerts and still does sometimes. We overlooked the beach and it was amazing at sunset and sunrise. It’s great for couples or families. I would totally stay there again. I have nothing bad to say about it and they were very friendly and helpful. Maurice at the front desk was awesome."
