"We had a wonderful 4 night stay as a family of 4. Breakfast was great, but would say the staff needs to check the coffee machine and Nutella to make sure they are refilled timely. The room was clean and spacious and our room had Air Con and was working great! Housekeeping did a great job keeping our room tidy. The hotel is in a great location, and within walking distances to the retail parks. As it was August when we stayed, they had weddings on and parking can be difficult. Thank you for the check in cookies!"

"The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast had lots of variety, items were replenished quickly. The room was spacious and looked like it hadn’t been decorated long ago. Overall a great place to stay, near the town centre and the bus depot, where was really handy"

"My daughter and I stayed here for one night sharing a double room on the first floor. The room was beautifully decorated, and there were apple tea and coffee supplies. We got food from the bar, which was great Valley for money. My daughter had the fish and chips and I had the beetroot burger, which was incredibly tasty. We used the pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna the day of checkout. The gym was a little disappointing that had the basics if you wanted to use it. The staff member in the bar whose name I did not get was very polite and we didn’t have to wait too long for our food. I’ll definitely recommend visiting this hotel."

"Lovely lady receptionist upgraded us to a superior double which was spacious with a large bed and great view of the church opposite, Ben, the duty manager was very efficient with the breakfasts. He got me extra tea as requested and did a lovely takeaway bag of sausage and bacon sandwich so my husband could eat later. Great staff, stylish rustic hotel. A perfect stay!"

"A nice location, good quality rooms. Shame that there was no food and no bar. When everything is back to the way it was, it will be a lovely place to stay. I feel it just needs some work to bring it up to standard."

"Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was tasty and well presented. Breakfast was self serve and plenty of it. For the future to consider in the bedroom i noticed that the electric socket is a round 3 pin by the bed. It would be better for a update socket to be put in so it allows power leads for charging the ipads/computers/ telephone while in bed. Just a suggestion."
