"Breakfast was nice. Staff was extremely friendly (Kelly from Idaho). She gave us fresh baked brownies and great conversation. :-) We saw otters in the Bay and a couple of seals. Although we missed seeing it, a whale also went by earlier in the day. Our room (#6) was excellent, looking out directly over the Bay and had reserved covered seating for us on the deck. Blankets (on the deck) were available to stay warm. Books and games were available in the kitchen. It was very cozy. I'd highly recommend."

"The hotel is basic but clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The best thing is the location if you are using it as a base for a Kenai Fjords tour as we were. It's across the street (1 minute walk) from the Harbor 360 Hotel where the Major Marines tour check in and embarkation dock is located."
