"La ubicación esta excelente, no es un hotel tan grande, las fotos pareciera que si, muy caro pero mas económico que los otros...por la ubicación vale la pena."
"We stayed here for 3 nights and during booking we were not sure if the kids will adjust to the loft experience or not. One thing which helped is pro-active messages from the host about the loft which showed transparency, so we kept the booking.
To our surprise, our kids loved the loft experience and one of them said why all vacation rentals or hotels dont have this. Also, my wife who is very cleanliness minded noticed everything seems clean from bathroom, room, sheets etc. We were carrying lot of food, so were able to use the shared kitchen and large fridge there. Lastly, we loved the experience of freshly cooked breakfast all 3 mornings, it was so refreshing before we headed out for outing."
"Neat historic hotel, we had a great stay. The building is old and looks rough from the outside but rooms were fine. Our shower had a plumbing problem. The staff immediately had a repair person working on it and moved us to a new room. The staff was prompt and handled it great. It is right in downtown Seward so really nice to walk to the shops and aquarium etc. Lots of shops and restaurants very close by!"
"Ok so pretty long review but please read the whole thing if you are going to read it. The hotel itself was clean and nice and a good property, though a pretty standard hotel. The staff was very nice.
They have a service where they check in your bags while you wait for your room to be ready or after checkout until you catch a boat, train, etc. which was nice. I do have to say that we did check our bags after check out while we walked around town until our cruise boat boarding. When we came back they did not have one of them, unfortunately one with our passports, obviously not great. However, I am still giving a good review because of the response. Paulette (manager), after finding out about it was just as panicked as I was, and she and her staff went all over everywhere looking for it (train depot, cruise line, etc.). She also contacted the cruise company and their baggage people, etc. and came to the cruise terminal with us to try and help. We did not immediately find the bag but the hotel staff worked with us and the cruise people to get us aboard the ship with birth certificates. They later found the bag in another guest's room, turns during a busy time they had let one of the guests grab their own bag from checked and they obviously grabbed the wrong one (lesson learned I hope). Hotel then overnighted our bag at no cost to our first port. So while it was very stressful I truly believe it was an honest mistake and they did everything they could to fix it."
"Was a nice place to stay if you don’t have a car, there’s the local shuttle bus that runs around 9am all day long every 30 minutes if you’re going fishing, you need a car or 30 minute walk, was OK for a morning walk, but very tiring after a long day of fishing… great location, right on the ocean and close to the main downtown Sitka area"
