"LOVED our stay here, the house was perfect for our family weekend. We hand a few hiccups - no hot water on our first night, but fixed by our second night. And the large drive was full of ice when leaving - no salt or help to get us out - it took us over an hour to get out. It was a small portion of the large drive way was cleared - but it truly wasn't enough & I wish a bag of salt was left at the home for us to use (knowing its the winter). But overall, enjoyed our stay - just wouldn't go back in the winter. "

"The landscape is beautiful. There’s much to explore. It is a convenient location. The fire pit was a highlight. Toasting marshmallows and grilling. The house is tastefully decorated. The water pressure in sinks and showers is very very slow. The layout is a bit of a maze. There’s a center staircase that splits. Half of the sleepy areas on two side. The description of 10 bedrooms is deceptive. Each of the bedrooms has a lounge area. These areas are spacious and have sofas that fold out; not bedrooms. Good for kids. You need to walk through these area to reach the staircase lending itself to little privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kids and grandkids had a three night slumber party. It was very nice. There are finishing touches, like towel bars and bedroom outlets that I assume will happen soon. It seems like the renovation and upgrades to the property are in the process. "

"It is what it is. I am way too old to be doing that style of camping anymore. Just not for me. There was a lot of communication when I booked but haven't heard anything since. I didn't realize some of the things when I booked it.I guess I didn't read or it wasn't there.I don't know. But that hike in and out kinda sucked! The toilet is so crooked.It's hard to go to the bathroom. I get roughing it and camping isn't glamorous?But there's a few things that could make this just a little bit nicer of a stay.Especially since people are paying to stay there. Just leveling the toilet seat a little bit so you're able to wipe yourself without standing up! Maybe chairs that don't require cushions that are completely missing so there's something semi comfortable to sit on outside.... an updated futon mattress would be amazing.That thing is so smashed and old.It was the most uncomfortable thing I've slept on in my entire life.I am still extremely sore today and probably will be the rest of the week getting over that mattress. Solar power is cool.It was extremely sunny.The whole time we were there.We had some power the first night.We use it until much later.We used it in the evening and then literally had like an hour The next day before it turned off. it needs idk how many days to recharge.That's wild! Oh, and when we got there I didn't realize how no service we were gonna be.We were sitting outside for probably 45 minutes before we could get in had to leave to look up the info again. "
