Everything was great, we were just stressed out with our dog getting ill. Sorry we had to check out so quickly. We will return in the future.

The ability to be able to access the amenities of Big Cedar without the price of it is great! However the actual rooms at Angler’s are very small. There was barely room between tv/dresser and bed, my daughter kept tripping because there was no real walkway. There is a large entry way when you walk in the room, but kind of a wasted space because you can’t store stuff there or it’s in the way of the bathroom or the door opening.

There are only 5 tables to eat at and the customer service is poor with lots of additional fine print charges and additional resort fees added on to the "nightly" rate.

As a professional cleaner this property was exceptionally clean. Only complaints are that the pool/hottub have so much chlorinator we couldn’t use it for more than 10 minutes because our eyes were burning. Both the pool and hottub are very small and the hottub is not hot at all. Other complaints, breakfast ends at 10am which seems very early on weekends. We had to wait over 20 minutes for food to be added to the buffet because everything was gone when we got downstairs at 930am. The staff is not super interactive or welcoming. The Tall Tales restaurant/bar next door closed at 11pm which was also a bit of a disappointment for a weekend. We would definitely stay here again because of cleanliness, it’s pretty quiet and the beds and pillows were so comfy.

I’m sure it was just unfortunate timing. But our rooms heat and air unit went out in the middle of the night making it extremely cold with a 1, 3, and 5 year old in the room. It was 3:30 am so we didn’t want to try and change rooms at that point so we all bundled up and survived. I also had trouble ever catching anyone at the front desk to ask some simple questions. On a positive note, the breakfast was great for being complimentary, and the room was spotless.

Our stay at Angler's lodge was wonderful. The lobby & breakfast area was beautiful. Breakfast was wonderful with a lot of hot options. The room itself was very roomy and nice. It did not smell like a hotel, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was nice. The bathroom even had a makeup mirror.

Traveled for father in law’s 82 birthday that coincided with Spring Break. The booking was half the price of Branson offerings and much more convenient (even if going into Branson for events and meals). We travel there often to see my wife’s father and will now always stay here.

Nice clean hotel, the only thing bad was when they tried to charge an extra $27 "resort fee" when we got there. We refused to pay, it is a hotel not a resort, and there was no mention of this until we got there. The reception lady said she would wave the fee but we found out the next morning she didn't, finally got the guy working the front desk to wave the fee. We will not be staying there again, I would expect more from Bass Pro Shop then to try something shady like this.

When my daughter and arrived we walk to our room past the pool which had beer cans stacked around the edge. The bathroom smelled like sewer. The staff is rude. There was a $27 a night resort fee we had no knowledge of. I wouldn’t say the place is kid friendly. We got out of there asap

Like the hotel. I was just not informed that we had to pay $25 extra for a resort fee. But it did not have move amenities than a hotel of the same price range.

Check in is not until 4, so we went to our cold room and turned the heater on, then dow to dinner on site where we drank. Having wanted to swim, we went to get ready and our room was a frigid 64 degrees. We turned it up, thought it was warming, but it was not warm enough for wet hair and the pool was about to shut down. We turned on the emergency heat and again thought it was warming and buried ourselves in the bed. 5 am was the latest we could take, calls to the front desk where i itially unanswered. The excuse was the attendant was checking on the construction marring the halls and parking lot. She did offer ti open another room for us to shower in, but nothing for our miserable experience and lack of access to amenities we paid for. They did ask us to come again. I expect service for d7ch an expensive stay and not nonchalance of their failure to provide cited services. Johhny Morris you should be ASHAMED!
