"Check in was a struggle. Rooms were still being cleaned after 6pm. We arrived around 12:30pm knowing the earliest we could check in to our room is 4:00, we went to eat and when we got back we enjoyed the amenities. When I didn’t get a call by 4:30 I went to the front desk to learn the room was not ready. There were several others also waiting on rooms still at 5:00 so I went to the grocery store and when we got back around 6:00 thankfully our room was ready but others were still waiting. At this point one of the guys at the desk actually went out on property to find housekeeping and figure out what was going on. I heard the next morning that the other folks were finally able to get in their rooms around 7:00pm!"

"This was my second stay at this hotel, and unfortunately it will be my last. I stayed for multiple nights and booked two rooms. From the start, the reservation process was a mess. One room was correctly listed under my name and loyalty account, while the second room was assigned to a completely different name and membership account. Despite acknowledging the mistake, staff claimed they could not properly correct it. They charged me for the room but only changed the name, leaving the incorrect membership information in place. The property also appears to deliberately restrict water pressure, which made showering frustrating throughout the stay. Another major disappointment was the inconsistency regarding pool and beach access. The posted hours clearly stated “sun up to sun down,” yet guests were repeatedly denied access before 7:30 AM and told the actual hours were 7 AM to 7 PM. If those are the rules, they should be clearly communicated rather than displaying misleading information. The pool staff were extremely rude and unhelpful whenever questions were asked. Their attitude alone made the experience unpleasant. What concerned me most was housekeeping entering my room while I was away despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being displayed. This is a serious privacy issue and completely unacceptable. My first visit to this hotel was enjoyable, which is why I returned. Unfortunately, the decline in service, poor management, lack of attention to guest concerns, and overall exp"

"Everything was good about my stay. Beautiful ocean view. Fantastic customer service from all 3 ladies there Monday through Wednesday at the front desk. We left early Wednesday because we wanted to avoid heavy traffic and Susan gave us 2 iced coffees on the house. Great place for a very nice getaway."

"The hotel itself is beautiful, and most areas are clean, and well-maintained, but the service was very disappointing for a resort. The biggest issue was the front desk employee I believe was named Jessica. When we arrived, she did not greet us, acknowledge us, or even make eye contact while we stood waiting in front of her. We were left wondering if she was available to help until another employee, who was already busy assisting other guests, had to tell us that she could help us. Her attitude came across as rude and unwelcoming, which is not the first impression guests should receive at a resort. The resort also appeared to be understaffed. Service at the bar and restaurant was slow, the pool area often had dirty dishes and leftover food sitting around, and we were told there would be a 45-minute wait for lunch because only two servers were working, even though the restaurant was not very busy. Overall, the property is nice, but the service does not match the quality of the hotel. Management should address both the staffing issues and the lack of customer service at the front desk."

"We were a little concerned about some of the prior negative comments but we found none of it to be true! We had a fantastic time and our room was extremely clean staff was very helpful. Yes the hotel is old and could use a little sprucing up in the common areas but overall was fine!"
