This was my first time ever going to Caesar's Palace. It is nothing short of palatial. The Romanesque theme is pervasive and well executed. The building complex is impressive with high mosaic ceilings, lavish gold-accented marble decor, and numerous statues throughout.
I stayed in the Colosseum tower. The room was clean and well-maintained with no obvious signs of excessive wear. I really enjoyed my stay.
However, I have two things to criticize: 1) Mini-bar items are expensive and on sensors so avoid touching the mini-bar unless you plan on purchasing items from it. 2) As a non-smoker, I found the odor of cigarette smoke on the casino floor to be pervasive and strong.
