Really glad you enjoyed your stay Anglesey is such a beautiful area. The views from the apartment are amazing and in fact what sold it to us as soon as we walked in. No matter what the weather is to be able to watch the sea and how it changes hour after hour, just so relaxing and mesmerising. Unfortunately we do have an electric meter it is set on a minimal charge as there is no way to regulate the use of the immersion water heater. If it is left on by mistake you can imagine the bill. We have tried to have this altered but almost impossible to do the way the building is set up. The meter does not cover lights or fridge/ freezer as we would not want our guests sitting in the dark or their food going off. We are also very keen on safety and it is not good arriving to a dark building. The rate is set so low and certainly not been changed in the fifteen years we have owned the apartment. On average I would say £5-£6 for a family staying for a week. We set our rental rates to take this into consideration and are very competitive. The towel issue was one suggested to us by other hosts that were having similar problems as us. Towels used for cleaning fishing equipment kayaks and all manor of things. You can imagine the state some were left in, if in fact left at all. We were advised to add a minimal charge and for some reason people seem to respect them more. It actually worked!! We charge £2.50p per bundle and again reflected in our rental charge. Our guests have the option then to bring their own personal towels if they wish. We hope these issues did not distract from your holiday. We hope giving you the option to arrive earlier and leave later extending your holiday was useful. There was no extra charge for this but we always offer this to guests if it is possible to do so. We hope you will consider returning in the near future.

Glad you enjoyed your stay and found the apartment comfortable. We have had a new kitchen put in this year including Induction cooker and dish washer. We are very pleased with the result and obviously you were as well.

Sounds like you really made the most of every minute. After the year we have all had not surprising. Yes it is only a few minutes walk to that pebble beach but so nice to sit in the evening watching the tide role in. Happy days!!

We must apologise for the z bed oversight, an unusual occurrence, and possibly overlooked because these beds are housed in a cabinet. We provide mattress protectors and sheets which are changed after each booking. We are pleased the matter was dealt with speedily as you acknowledge. As for the settees we have not had any adverse remarks from other guests but your comments are noted. Of course we are not offended and are pleased that you enjoyed your break with us !

The photograph focuses more to the right side were the Madoc apartment is located but the Brangwen is just the other end of the same building. I will get a larger photograph of the whole building put on to the site to avoid confusion. I am glad you found the apartment comfortable and hope to welcome you back again soon.

Thank you for your kind review. The garden area is communal but only to Plas Darien residents and guests. The information guide for our guests says that access to the nearby indoor pool may be restricted during the high season (simply due to the greater demand as most holiday units are let out at this time). As an alternative, the local leisure centre swimming pool is also mentioned in the guide. However, we are pleased that you had a relaxing holiday and found the apartment to be well equipped so we do hope to welcome you and your family back again sometime.
