Lovely staff. We had 2 very large suitcases and were worried about lugging them up the stairs as there is no lift, however a staff member did this for us, which was great. The room was comfortable, and the view was lovely. We did eat at the restaurant downstairs, but it took an hour to get our meal. The restaurant was packed to the rafters, and the staff were run off their feet (a table next to us walked out) - it seemed that were not enough staff to cater to the amount of people. Apart from that, it was a nice place to stay, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Reliable hotel

We stay here every year on our way to Ireland by ferry from Holyhead and it never disappoints. Great food in both the restaurant and bar. Lovely, friendly staff and comfy beds.

We had booked a room with our dog, the room would have been better if it wasnā€™t on the first floor, our room when booked had a view not sure it was a room with a view! Dog treats were a nice touch, food was excellent and staff were extremely friendly

Lovely Hotel, good choice of restaurants & bars. Stayed in the Cottage, lovely bedroom & bathroom, but next rooms bathroom was behind our bed and very noisy when anyone went the toilet. That was the only downside to a lovely stay

The hotel is very near Holyhead ferry terminal (6 min drive) which is really useful when getting an early ferry. They also have the ability to have a family in a single room as they have sofa beds and extra single beds in the family room. The room was a good size and was clean. On the downside, the hotel is fairly tired inside, and the bathroom door in our room had a huge chunk missing from the bottom of it, which limited its privacy, and there is some truly shoddy decorating in the bathroom. The shower was so low that my husband was unable to stand under it - I just about could and Iā€™m 5ft 3in. All in all it was a comfortable stay, but I felt the room was overpriced for the condition of the room itself. Staff were lovely, however.
