Best stay anywhere ever! Definitely a home away from home in a quiet location but close enough to everything. Extremely clean and the host is wonderful. Will definitely be back.

Awesome place!
The house was beautiful and very well equipped. The owner met us and showed us around the house explaining how things worked and how to reach her if we needed anything. The house had everything that you might need and then some!

Luxurious House and Perfect Location
This is the BEST VRBO we have ever stayed in. Immaculate (so clean!) and comfortable. The furniture and beds appeared to be new - not your typical garage sale finds. Couch, love seat & chair were all recliners. Pair that with a huge HD tv - great to watch movies together in the evening. We lived on the back screened patio - beautiful yard & again great furniture setup. We didn’t cook, but kitchen had everything you’d need to cook. Even the master bathroom & shower exceeded expectations. Host was wonderful. Great communicator, even brought us home made chocolate chip cookies & coffee cake (thank you Mary Lynn). Would definitely stay again.

There is no surprise that this home and hosts have 5 star ratings! Communication was excellent throughout our time leading up to and during our stay. We were celebrating our daughter's 16th birthday. We arrived to the house and balloons, cake, and a present were waiting for her! Our travel down was long and exhausting but this surprise definitely brightened her spirits!

We only had 2 nights available but we booked it and loved it!!! Owners were amazing to deal with!! Even invited our family of 6 for Thanksgiving dinner. Talk about feeling at home! Was perfect for our family. Lots for the kids to do too! Will return for sure!!

Short and sweet
We were able to come for a very short visit and had the pleasure of renting 2 of the Byrd properties that are located next door to each other! We had previously rented the Stilt House and had a wonderful experience so when we visited for my MIL 90th birthday we knew we needed two houses for our large group! Having them next to each other was perfect! This house was where we all gathered for breakfast, lunch, family time and just relaxing after a long day! These homes have everything you need and the Byrd family is available to answer any questions and help you with special requests anytime of day! Each home is awesome and we will definitely be back! The Bryd family are definitely Premier Hosts!

Beautiful, well-stocked home in a peaceful place
What a fantastic vacation home! The hosts are next-level attentive. (They showed us two Nerf water guns for the kids when giving us a tour at check-in, saw that we had three kids, and discreetly dropped off a third water gun the next day!) The house is beautiful and impeccably maintained. The kitchen is fantastic and the master bath might’ve inspired a remodel in my own house! We’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and this is the cleanest, most thoughtfully laid out, well-stocked place we’ve ever rented. It was an easy drive to several parks, and we’d definitely stay here again!

This house was perfect for our 5 adults. 3 bedrooms and a lot of common space. It was well stocked with incidentals you would need. Place was clean in a good location and easy to find. We would stay here again.

This was the second year that we rented the same house for scallop diving. The house is clean, well stocked and even had some new furniture. The location is perfect for scallop diving. The owner is very nice and available.

This is my third year coming and we enjoyed every part of the house and everything that was offered. Our boys were excited to drive the boat. We also went all over Orlando and homosassa and the springs. We plan on coming back to visit.

Homosassa Springs House
My wife Patricia and I had an amazing stay at Joy and Joe's beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath, home located in Homosassa springs. Everything was new, very clean, and well maintained. Joy and Mary Lynn were very attentive and accommodating. Mary Lynn made cookies when we arrived, and Joy even switched a Keurig coffee maker out with a regular one per our request! Our two night visit was perfect for us to relax and see the area. We enjoyed some of the local cuisine and relaxed in the ambiance of a smaller town. The two car garage was great because we brought two kayaks with us so I knew they were secure once we were finished for the day. Thank you again for a wonderful place to stay! Ryan and Patricia Burke

Great Spot in Homosassa!
We had only a couple of nights in this home but they were great. Very accommodating owner allowing us to arrive early and park our camper while waiting for our campsite to be ready. Very close to local restaurants, bars, and the waterfront. Very clean home and the hospitality was A+. Would def stay again!

My son and I stayed here in mid-December while in Florida to check off a bucket list item - swimming with manatees. The property was easy to find with clear instructions for getting in. The house was clean and inviting and even had some Christmas decorations which was a nice touch. Plenty of space and everything we needed for our stay was available.

We had an amazing stay at the Byrd's home. We had everything we could have wanted as far as supplies in the house. The backyard was tropical and magical. We were allowed to use the kayaks and that was fun and saved us a lot of money. The boat tour was amazing. A trip the kids and us will not forget!

When they said it was "well-stocked", it couldn't have been better supplied with the things you need or may need when on vacation. All the comforts of home right by the water!

Summer Scalloping Sensation!
Why spend hundreds of dollars on housing when you can stay here and use the savings for fun family activities such as scalloping, manatee tours, or unique dining on the springs. I love the home, I love the owners, I love the area, but most importantly I love the memories!

Like visiting with good friends.
We were so happy at this comfortable and quiet home. Joe, Joy and Mary Lynn were always available and accommodating. As locals, they will tell you where the best places and activities are. The kitchen is well stocked with beautiful beach theme plates, cups, etc. The feeling I get is that the owners love having hosts and they carefully plan for a comfortable and pleasant stay for each of their guests. Very enjoyable time.

Wonderful house!
This is a wonderful house! Very clean and comfortable. The house is as represented. It is thoughtfully set up with all the conveniences of your own home. And the Master shower is awesome! House feels safe an comfortable. The owners are very responsive and helpful with our questions. They even picked us fresh grapefruit off a huge tree in the backyard! They were delicious! The house is less than two miles to the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park where we went to see the manatees and the underwater “fishbowl” observatory. We were only there for two days, but I wish we had more time as there is more to see and explore in area. I highly recommend this home.
